Speedy Pizza
 

There should definately be either 1) more pizza tables or 2) some sort of //#clientside on the script so people can stop screwing with pizza making.

Example: I was in SP all alone, so I figured I could use all the tables since it wasn't bothering anyone. The concept is, if you don't mess with a pizza for a certain amount of time, it is free grabs for other players. Well, some jerk decided to log on, and in the middle of me finishing my final supreme pizza, stole 5 of my supreme pizzas, and all the PR on could do was say "Sorry, shouldn't have taken so long"

I know it's not too huge of a deal, since its like. 75 dollars. But it's awfully annoying, and It wouldn't be that big of a hassle to add a side room with more pizza tables/ovens/etc.

Anyone agree?

i think more pizza tables is a good idea. Whenever i went there, it always seemed to be pretty busy

Oh god, This is hilarious.

you can't just throw //#CLIENTSIDE on top of the script and expect it to work so multiple people can use the same table.

1) That isn't that easy..
2) If you do that, People can be making a pizza and have to go.. They log off, But you wouldn't be table to use his tables and no-one can make pizza anymore ;[

It was more of the general idea. I kinda figured that wouldn't work, but I'm suggesting something like that.
But no matter, because more tables could fix this easily...

Making it a real shop (Player-Owned) would also fix it :]

it wouldn't be much harder than adding clientside tbh but I think the management would balk at the idea since it would open up making money to cheaters.

Sp is always packed, at least on peak hours, and its great money. I care.

more professions should be like this because right now it seems that businesses operate on the delusion of infinite resources (digging for seashells, for example)

You obviously didn't get what happened.
I made supreme pizzas on every table, all at the same time. Took enough time for someone to log on, and steal the pizzas.

Whatever though, staff don't agree that we need more tables.

Umm, heres what you do, you take each supreme pizza and put them in each of the ovens....
It doesnt take that long.

Take's a little longer to regrab everything I think.

But anyways, in response to this whole thread, every job has its limitations. Should we take explosions out of mining, PK zones out of flower-picking, and Gas out of car missions too?

If you're being wise, you won't leave your pizzas for longer than the timer. You have 15 seconds from your last grab to update each pizza. You shouldn't need any longer by any circumstances.

I think that the pizza should be like the mines so when you try to grab it, it says "This item belongs to ..." Then that way it will eventually dissapear and nobody can take anybodies pizza. Plus adding more table would be great because now since unlimited employees can work their 5 tables or so will not cut it expecially if some jerk decides to put a pizza on every table so nobody when you try to make a pizza it won't allow you if you add my idea.

In the mines you eventually can take another person's TNT'd rocks, just not their wall-drilled ones.

I just feel the 15 second timer is a way to keep speedy pizza from being a 'best' job.

The business industry of Era needs total restructuring of their system. It's one of the main sources of where Era puts out money to the economy. A lot of money is being created than money being destroyed, or circulated.

Ive had the same problem Sam, and I honestly think its a pain in the ass to have to get a PR and have them watch, because by that time they Pizza Stealer knows someone else is watching and doesnt bother to do it anymore.

Simple Solution to this= Seperate Rooms with their own table and ingredients. Make it like the comic club practice rooms.

I will see about adding a couple additional pizza tables.

chris will consult his clip board and then using some of his new learned 9th grade algebra he will come up with an equation to figure out how many extra speedy pizza tables need to be added.
