You'd be surprised how many times I've had to back mine up and/or delete content. :(

Meh. I only had to delete all my inbox and outbox messages twice this month. If I have already read it, its not really new to me.

I'm constantly deleting messages because I'm almost always at 70 messages.

Yes, I did mean forum PM boxes.

I run in to this as well. I get a lot of PMs from people questioning bans, hirings, etc. from Era, and there are PMs I'd like to hold on to without downloading it as XML or whatever.

I highly doubt doubling the PM box size would increase the load on the server hardly at all.

I agree. My PM box is currently 99% full and it always seems to fill up so fast.

My PM box is also always full or close to it

no one talks to me over PMs except high up staff that i usually PM first, so i don't actually care but, if the popular kids want bigger PM boxes, i say let them have it. it can't be eating too much space and bandwidth to allow 150 PMs instead of just 70

Why is there a limit in the first place?

Just download them and save them, then delete the ones. It's what I do.

There's no reason we should have to do this - increasing the PM box size definitely wouldn't harm the server in any way imaginable.

I had the forum PM problem on another forum, so I can feel the pain now :D
It can probably increased more later, the only problem is that the forum database is already huge, it's almost 9 years old.
