Zone, from #1 to nothing?
 

Passed few days, the highest playercount it has reached was 10.
What happened? This server used to have 30+ people constantly.

Old news, no need to act like it hasn't been like this for months, we're working on things on the debug server just gotta wait.

Poor gameplay with no variation, and bad controls at least I didn't like it.
It would have been better as a third person 3d shooter or something instead so you at least could aim properly... or maybe just make so you shoot with the mouse at ANY dir and add bullet blocking stuffs on the maps to make it more interesting or something.

Since when was Zone "#1" in anything?

He's right when has Zone ever been #1 in anything. Definitely not in player count.

Don't be so negative, updates are coming and keep up the hope that the players count will raise till what it was.

We're doing out best and I expect out scripters to do hard work on the things that I want to realise

If Zone gets back how it was when i started playing it, I would come back and buy gold again.

I do think we need to work on more CQC style gameplay, though, by adding more obstacles.

And sure graal is limited but its not THAT limited, as long as you have good ideas and some effort you can go far.

because Era doesn't want it. Zone doesn't have an advantage just because you can shoot in 4 additional directions, lol. the game play for each server is completely different, which is a good thing this way they are both unique.

Dude, Gambet and elk working for zone now. It's gotta become amazing over time, and the playercount will rise again.

geez I just redownloaded for kicks, and came back to the forums to see why the playercount was so low. Kinda lame, 0 players on right now.

I remember one night I saw 100+ kids on zone. But yet again, those nights usually sucked and everyone whined about the lag >.>

Oh yeah I did, I played when Alpha was the most populated planet ^_^.
Anyways, these updates won't change anything.

Yah, I kind of agree. It's about 5 dollars a month with a gold subscription when you average it out. I can see why people wouldn't pay that for a 2d game since there's a couple other rpgs that have that same price.

The price is 1 Point, What about the playercount? You pay about 5 Dollars there for 1 Month on gold, And you have to play the game with like 5 other people..

It's a very exclusive club.

zone has been dying for a while. Its not suprising at this result. Most of it was lack of any decent updates or any updates for that matter. As it seems though there is a dedicated staff that is trying their hardest to get new content out so i would suggest sticking with it. No matter how bleak it looks right now, the light of the future is coming.

Funny though how after jesse quit the playercount went down fast.

They player count was already dead way before Jesse quit.

For good reason. There are much more important things that need to be done before events should be hosted off at a semi-frequent basis. Events shouldn't be hosted when the playercount is low regardless.

This thread isn't about Zodiac or what Gambet has done on Zodiac. Gambet does his job well on Zone.

What would make Zone more entertaining to all of you? What types of content such as planets or changes to the current planets would you like to see?
