Tell him WHAT you think needs to be changed. "play around with the colors" sucks.

Since im not expert enough to judge if other colors would really look better, and if they do what colors would look better, the best advice i can give is that he maybe should play around with the colors.

Well if he made that image in 15 min thats VERY impressive if he just copied & pasted in stuff other people have done and changed the colors some thats almost impressive.. I guess, but it mostly depend on how the original image looked :P but anyways it looks nice :]

you should learn to read. I am not expert enough to tell exactly what to improve, but i can give directions or hints on what could be improved, altho i can't exactly say how, which will also help the artist because if he learns himself what looks better he will always be able to apply it in his future art.

+the fact that your avatar is in jpeg proves that you hardly know anything about art and shouldn't be posting here.

theres nothing wrong with the colours, its awesome as it is.

I like it, but you need some work on picking better fonts / manipulating fonts.

Wow I really like what you ended up doing with that picture. :]

The position of the text worked better before IMO because of the contrast between the colors. You've now removed most of the darker area with the light font.
