To Whomever Uploaded the LC Base
 

Does not deserve an RC.

Who in their right mind would upload such an atrocity as a gang base?

For god sakes it's one of the worst levels i've ever seen.

Discuss.

Overall; the base is extremely unfair to people raiding it.

To add, it's extremely ugly. I have never seen anything that horrific since the chase scene in the Texas Chain Massacre.

A positive? Well, I do like the overall size of the base. I am fond of larger structures, rather than the tiny bases that we currently have. A negative? Everything else.

The tiles are okay.... though I think its way too big.

the outside is decent, but it looks horrible with all the flowers and tile errors. /updatelevel era_present.gmap please.

the inside levels are a joke. I didn't get a good look at them because I was being attacked but from what I see it's pretty bad. tile choice is horrible also.

I don't see why the LATs thought these levels were good enough to be uploaded. nas shouldn't be anywhere near the level editor.

It wasn't the LATs that made it.

Nas or Duckman (SensesFail) made it then someone upload it.

it's just funny because it starts out with 1 horrible level then more and more keep getting uploaded. every few days there's something new to point and laugh at.

I think it's time for some tryouts. Tryouts for LAT, is what I mean. The LAT position needs to be available for some new tryouts. The staff need to host these tryouts.

I don't really see what's so bad about it.

Tig the levels have no detail and the levels are so big they're indescribable.

Now you're going to have 4 other gangs hastling you for new bases.

Honestly the outside was really good, so whoever did that woho, but it needs to be fixed (tile errors and such), the inside is redicilous, have you seen the basement?

since leadership is being passed on so often, each and every new leader of a gang shouldn't have the right to start changing levels to what they want them to be because in a few weeks nas probably won't even be leading LC anymore.

It's pretty horrible. I don't know why people keep messing up Era's levels. Hospital. Recycling center. Now gang bases?

Era is an absolute MESS right now.

I like the new hospital and recycling center, but then again i like change. And the new base isn't bad, i just think there needs to be a few changes here and there, but its not a big deal imo...

Secondly, for those complaining, as Tig has said, Do better and then you can whine.

Thirdly, (This may offend the lats) IMO none of eras levels have "detail," or my expecations of detail. Levels don't need detail to look good with a modern tileset though. When i think of detail, i think of a server with a classic tileset, those levels require much more detail.

We can all agree that the new base is horrible. But seriously I could probably do better than this and that isn't saying much.

The old LC levels were absolutely great. But if you really need new levels, get DpH or DH to do it. For a little cash they'll make you a professional looking base, not a horrible gmap of a base.

i loved the old levels, they reason they werent raided is because of location
think about it, bh isnt raided because its a great pk area. Its raided becauses it in the middle of the map.

If anything the old insides levels could been updated a bit(less lameable) and it woulda been great. Maybe even move that whole base where ninja is/was.

@Chris :: Sorry if you don't like the hospitals.

@everyone else :: From what I know.. Which isn't much anymore; era is gunna be completely revamped anyways on Era dev.
So everything will probably be changed quite a bit.

I'm wondering why we still have the new one; more people voted to restore the old one.

I understand that Era is not a democracy, and obviously players can't make all the decisions, but as far as levels go, it seems like it would be a good idea to listen to what the players want.

First off if you want to talk **** thats fine, second if you want to help you can, Don't come on here and say **** and not SAY what can be done to make them look better, maybe you should use constructive critisiczm instead of Douchebaggery. If you want to help make the insides look better let me know and I will gladly let you help if I know you.

They also don't like it because its Unique and nothing nobody has ever seen before because thats what I was going for. It fits our theme of a Columbian Cartel and thats what I was going for

I'd have to disagree, ive shown some people the base and they like it alot. As nas said, it's unique, which is what we were aiming for. No other bases have a mini gmap, and no other bases have a "front," or in other words a disguise, which would be it looking like a mansion. Its the first base to match its theme, other than ninjas most recent base (but this new LC base was in the making before it so in actuality it was the first). The only things that i think should be changed is the gun room floor, which was already brought up and someone is woking onthat. And theres some minor things in the basement, but overall, theres not much more i could see being added/edited. I'd like to see some unique and original custom images, but that will come eventaully

I will upload a video tomorrow of me walking around the levels, so you can either wait for that or just come on!

Its ugly.. Way to big, Tile erros.. Seriously why dont give BB, BH, Ninja a little building, 5x5 tiles, with a door to a 10x10 gmap? LOL it would come out at the same thing as this..

Ehh. I just took a look at it. Overall there's nothing strikingly unique about it. Particularly in comparison to the original LC levels, which was aesthetically one of the better gang bases on Era, this one seems very lackluster and plain. Not just because of tile choice or lack of images either. The level layouts themselves aren't very good.

You have to give Nas some credit though he did work very hard on these levels and isn't a LAT to begin with. I love the outside but the inside choice of tiles like the BK one didn't really come to my liking. People are complaining because it has a GMAP in the basement which i said myself still needs improved. Just for the record i fixed up the whole base but didn't upload it because a few things needed improved and changed.
