Avatars

Okay, 70x70 is ridiculously small. This isn't 2001 anymore, much higher resolutions are standard and the min size should at least be 100x100. Same goes with file-size, 12kb is small nowadays, with broadband being more available. Raise both please.

Animation would also be nice.

Inverness 02-12-2009 03:47 AM

Inverness agrees.

And I think 128x128 is a better max size. Just because of the whole computer number thingy.

Nataxo 02-12-2009 03:49 AM

I support :o

DarkRenji 02-12-2009 03:57 AM

Animated avatars please!

Or ill never be able to use my dancing megaman picture!!!

CABAL49 02-12-2009 03:57 AM

This means I will need a new Sea Serpent. This one shall become more ferocious than any ever before. The mere look in it's eyes shall cause fear in small children and make others soil their pants.

Rufus 02-12-2009 04:04 AM

130x150 plz.

maximus_asinus 02-12-2009 05:50 AM

I also support this, except for the animated avatars. I don't want to see anyone's seizure inducing avatars.

salesman 02-12-2009 06:23 AM

I could've sworn I saw someone with an animated avatar...

Nataxo 02-12-2009 06:27 AM

If you don't like it, then you can go and disable avatars in your thread display options, that's what it's for.

Crow 02-12-2009 04:45 PM

I agree. Please do what this man says.

Animated avatars require approval by mods?

Can I selectively disable a person's avatar? I quite like looking at some avatars, as they can be quite comical.

Seems like needless work on the moderator's part, and as of right now I wouldn't want to fall back on what the moderator's discretion on what is acceptable (unless RIGID rules are put in place).

Every other forum with animated avatars enabled has "seizure inducing" members? I don't think I've ever seen it other than on this forum and that was one person.

maximus_asinus 03-05-2009 06:16 PM

Bump.

Inverness 03-06-2009 01:12 AM

You can really feel the close relationship Graal's customers have with its administration.

If you're so concerned about it, PM the URL to Stefan and I'm sure he'll look into it.

Even ignoring that you are missing the point, Matrix beats FF7. And a tiny, low-contrast quotes beats a retarded picture.

Deas_Voice 05-05-2009 03:09 PM

matrix FTW, it beats everything.

Loriel 05-05-2009 03:25 PM

You guys should come up with a greasemonkey script that will apply avatars configured on a remote site to the graal forums

Vote for Bush!

That aside, it would be better to have such things a dimension and file size constraints risen a little.
