Guys, you know what would be great?
A Radio Hosting System!

A system where you can host your favorite songs, and other players could listen to it while playing. This would be way better than the glitchies Zone
MP3s'.

Altough, this would need alot of work

So what you guys think about this idea?

Well would it would have to be streamed. I've suggested something similar in the past.

I guess it is a good idea, I think it would be a lot of work that would be better spent on new maps and updates.

I think it would be worth it in the long run. Once it has been scripted and once we get some radio stations set up, the players who are hosting will keep it going from there on.

ive suggested the same thing about a year ago, dont get to hopeful. altho it would be great.

No man Zone is full of Emo's and I hate Emo music.

That't why there could be a emo station and a rock staiton a rap station. etc, and I"m not emo your the one cutting yourself.

Why are people not smart enough to open up Winamp or go online for music? Your streamed music might lag, and no one likes skippy music.

Now we might actually have a use for the radio item in the suit section of the inventory.

So you guys are saying that this thing would be run like the one on Era? People would be hired to stream music constantly? We could also have song artists to make more music for the radio or different planets.

(By the way, there'd better be varying genres of music, not just ones that the DJ's "prefer." Also, hiring several DJs that play at different times will help the radio play constant music, or the radio can have a playlist that it alternates through.)

Oi, stereotyping music now, are we? Don't be hating tha' tunes.

There'd have to be hand picked people to run a single station or multiple ones. For an "Omnistation," there would have to be a giant collection that would have to be very diverse, so everyone would be happy. The Omnistation would be fairly easy to make, compared to having people make their own stations. Multiple stations could either be like mini-omnistations and play generic music types, or they could be dedicated to a single genre to appeal to a certain audience. There's a lot of ways that this could go.

There are very much Dutch players now and Im very in the music so if its needed I can host a RadioStation ,I have also good contact with the Dutch players so I can host what they like.

I love the idea for a radio system on zone... as long as players can host their own music.

It's really the system used to speak with your team (using "'blah" and "/blah").

I would make a hippy station with Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, and stuff like that. This radio station thing sounds cool though, it's pretty cool on Zodiac, so it probably will be just as cool lol.

Lets just copy Zodiacs xD. I'd get some Radiohead going during events :].

Why not make Stations for different Countrys?

Example: A dutch station, with dutch music, and some english.

Every country has his own DJ's, who can choose the music, and players can give tip, for the music!

dutch music sucks X.x... BADLY! Just a couple of stations with different kind of music you can tune into.

Other players do like Dutch music, If you dont like it tune to onother station.
