ok u know Era Police right ok like they have a list like bounty hunter evertime someone hits 50 or 100 kills they will be added to the warrant list then when they police arrest or kills him/her they will be removed from the list its a job u get payed u know and every kill u get 1000 added to the Era Police safe when they end of the week comes they Chief or Recruiter pays everyone the board counts the warrant kills u get!!! -BlankMan |
Bad Idea, No comment.

Wait, I don't understand.
A certain group gets paid for killing? That doesn't seem too fair. Let's just pay everyone who kills fifty people. Sounds like a great idea  |
Horrible system for a police gang, but I do think era should have a police force.
|
I think having a Wanted system implemented would be a good idea and would keep PKing more fun/active and would give everyone something to do. Like if you consecutively kill 2-3 people it will raise your wanted level, or if you kill a police officer it will raise your wanted level.. than player police have to run around and try to take you down and arrest you. Than maybe perhaps players that get alot of high wanted levels could get some type of reward (some type of points?) and same with police taking down players with high wanted levels could also be rewarded somehow?

What would the group of cops do? Wait around all day until they get a chance to kill 1 guy? x.X Would they become outlaws after reaching 50 kills? lol

- The EPD, which would be ran by NPCs, would keep a bounty list up for players who want to earn an extra bit of cash. Players would be added to the list after they kill an X amount of players; not including trials. This way anyone can join. But in order to get the reward you'd have to go to the office and accept the bounty hunt rather than randomly find out the last person you killed was a target and getting the money. This would be better than having the current Bounty Hunter gang that's out now. No one even places bounties on anyone. :whatever: |
I must say that I agree with the last post. Would be nice to see something like this on Era without a doubt. ^^

Also, calling Bounty Hunter a "gang" is a fallacy. Somebody on a Bounty Hunter tag cannot PK unless one of the following criteria is met:

Gang, business, club, I really don't care. The fact that only they can do bounty hunts is kind of biased. And to be honest, for an entire day, that's nothing. The only times I've ever used the bounty system was when I was pulling a joke on a friend. Other than that, nothing. I don't really think anyone takes BH seriously to the point where they use the system as an actual revenge; it's more of a "LOL I PUT A BOUNTY ON U, RUN 4 UR LYFE".
Also, with all of these non-pk zones, there isn't really a need for either BH nor PPA. Quote:

It gives players something to shoot for. There's no exclusive gang-- There's no current gang that "sets a bar". That's when Bounty Hunter comes into play-- They set the bar of an exceptional guild. Everybody in Bounty Hunter has an exceptional PK ability-- In order to join, it's simple: get better at PKing. If we made it "unbiased"--meaning we would add those who aren't exceptional-- it would lose its authenticity. Quote:

Bounty Hunter is an elitist guild. Quote:
I've been giving violators a heads up. Including Wil-- Ironically, he's actually the only violator I've seen. |
The bounty list is so big that it doesn't even fit in the server flags window. It gets cut off at a certain point.

Also: Bad idea* , no* I've always thought the Police Force in Era shouldn't be restricted to the physical limitations placed around the other gangs and businesses of Era. Laser eyes, genetic mutations, and the ability to talk their way out of parking tickets whilst spawning a legion of tadpoles from the nearest frog with ovaries to name just a few of the super powers granted to the Force. They reserve the right crack down on player crimes such as jaywalking, spitting, parking in robocop spots, and using firearms within city limits. The Police Force will be made up of a strictly white caucasian force of men somewhere within the age range of 35-45, and they will sport stereotypical blue collar working names such as Hank, Ralph, Rastafan, and Leonardo. They would get a version of the night stick that not only has a chance on hit to paralyze, but also teleport the victim to a secret underground network of tunnels that leads to either a room filled with Wheel of Fortune re-runs or a replica torture room from the Spanish Inquisition era. Everything in this torture room, would of course, be functional. In the Wheel of Fortune room, vowels are not buyable. And finally, their tag-locked weapon: the badge. The badge can be thrown like a throwing star, but has the return factor of a boomerang. In addition, the force can also equip the badge on the center of their chest to give them a 1% chance to avoid a fatal shot from another player. The final function of this badge is to simply wear anywhere on the body in order to receive passive benefits such as discounts at Dippin' Donuts, and the respect from any NPC church-goers named Sally. |
