Slow, slow service.

I don't ordinarily like to complain about this sort of thing, but help from Graal Support Desk or whatever it's called now is next to non-existent. About six months ago my account was completely hijacked on Kingdoms (The one server I consistently played.) and all the items were cleared out and traded off. (I didn't give my password out. It was keylogged from me along with my gmail and other stuff.)

Anyhow, when I got control of my accounts again, I immediately made a support ticket about it. It got no response for roughly three months, and someone deleted it without responding at all, as though I were simply wasting their time. Then I made another one, which got a minor response, but no real effort was made to resolve the issue. It's a bit irritating to get that kind of response when you've worked for years on that server and the majority of things you've earned are pilfered from your account.

Being able to log back into the forums makes me pretty tempted to renew, but not when I have nothing to come back to. I'm just curious as to why it's always been like this.

Crono 07-19-2008 11:34 PM

Sad to hear.

Draenin 07-19-2008 11:36 PM

How hard is it to check logs, guys? You lost one of your better content designers because of apathy.

Crono 07-19-2008 11:38 PM

You should work on the superior ex-Graal flagship (BI!).

Elk 07-19-2008 11:40 PM

Draenin, was the site you were using support.cyberjoueurs.com or support.graalonline.com?
It's quite possible that it was deleted etc...because Antigraal once hacked the supportcenter

Already did. ;]

Of course, that was pre-konidias, in Lance's day.

I don't believe so. Although it may be worth checking into.

cbk1994 07-19-2008 11:41 PM

Yeah, the support is horrible. It's been over a week and my ticket hasn't even been viewed.

Elk 07-19-2008 11:43 PM

If I was global I would check them everyday

What logs?

Rufus 07-20-2008 02:35 AM

If I was global I'd leave them for years. Who do they think I am, their mother?!

Tigairius 07-20-2008 02:48 AM

I remember when you told me about this, I wish there was something I could do. It's sad that people have to fall victim to this sort of stuff and they're not even protected.

Too bad yes, but there is nothing to be done because - no logs if an item was dropped or not. There are only logs for other things but these didn't cover that case.

That strikes me as incredibly odd, especially on a server that is pretty much entirely economical based. Do you have logs for points of entry and points of exit? I'm kind of hoping you're just missing some trade logs, else I have no idea how you guys can track the economy on Kingdoms at all x_x

Tradetables and also trades using the playerquickmenu for plat only are logged.

Xterminator 07-20-2008 03:10 AM

The only one who really does answer you is Ibonic..2 out of 3 tickets where responded to me by him.

Is that all? Sounds like Draenin was the victim of some bad planning, or you could say good planning, depending on who you want to blame :p

It's a shame though.

True, Ibonic does a good job on the support center. But after the ticket was assigened to the person who needs to take care of it everyone else can only wait. I could count them using two fingers but one of them doen't do things on GK or other Server.

@Rufus, yea somehow it is but what do tons of lots help us if noone would be able to fix it?

Tigairius 07-20-2008 03:38 AM

Well, Draenin, I'm not going to beat around the bush and give you false hope like some of the staff are notorious for doing. I honestly think there is no chance your items will be restored at this point (unfortunately). They've already been all cycled and circled through the economy and would be very very difficult to sit there and retract all trades and get the items back to you, it's better by now to just move on. Don't worry, it's happened to all of us.

Hmmm?

knightfire35 07-20-2008 03:56 AM

I had a similar problem a while back, sadly it was never resolved. Good luck though.

DustyPorViva 07-20-2008 07:18 AM

To be honest, service has always been fast on my support tickets. Admittedly, they were all account related, thus Ibonic replied, and it did surprise me... but they were replied to within minutes, and at the most, the next day.

Yeah ... well, my ticket has gone a week now without even being viewed.

What kind of ****ty service is this? x_x

There are IP logs for when thieves log into my account, though. There's even an automated email alert system that tells users when that happens, and it just gets ignored.

Stryke 07-20-2008 08:19 AM

Playerworld related ones seem to be fine for me. After I submit a ticket, it doesn't take much time until Bell views it.

Try asking for something troublesome or controversial.
I've had service that takes 1 day or less to fix, and other things have taken much longer (or simply ignored).
It happens. Still, it feels like the system didn't have a lot of thought put into it, like it was a side project. It can be hard to find if you don't know where to look as well.

Demisis_P2P 07-20-2008 09:54 AM

Bell and HoudiniMan generally are pretty good with Playerworld related tickets.

But as always, anything related to GK is piss poor.

Everyone can respond to a problem ;)
A reply is better than having the ticket deleted/forgotten/ignored,...

Yep. Over a week now for my ticket.

That's because there are few people who are supposed to actually answer GK support tickets and those people hardly reply. I don't even have access to the support center, and I am a FAQ/Developer who is able to answer almost all questions... I'd think the FAQs would at least be able to answer support center tickets but meh, I asked and didn't receive.
