I quit when I lost all my items to a scammer.

Who scammed you ?

I'm close to quitting. It's really annoying to know old players have the best discontinued items. Worse is the fact there are no current items to match them. Really off putting for me as a new player :whatever:

Please stay ! I have ideas to fix that :)

By all means keep the rareness and value of the old items but bring current items which can match them.

I left twice, Graynt took over Zormite and I got reset, and then I got scammed. Almost time to resubscribe.....

I quit because the community died. GK no longer felt important when it's population went down to like 20.

Same. Not only that, but the few left only cared about leveling up. Roleplaying went way down hill after people started only wanting to level up and get the best items.

You've got to be joking me! At least half of the current "leet" items were made by the encrazed Germankr3w, and it must have been within the last year that they've been made. :whatever:
They need a game about hugging... just for you. :p

It's kind of hard to miss the amadola shield, heart shield of health, and other really rare items thoughtlessly released by the Germankr3w.

Jellyfish hacked me back in 2001. After that I saw no point in returning since my character was reset.

I quit due to lack of everything and Roleplaying had died along with the community. I've grown tired of "he scamed this and that". And no god damn updates that aren't stupid eye candy. ( weather, viewable ammy's, knockback was just kinda' pointless to... and uhhh.. "kingdom battle mode is retarded and not enough people to fully make it fun ) I'm very glad I cashed in on this game just before it hit a rock bottom player count of 2 this server oh so very well deserves for this pathetic game it has become.

- Little to no new items
- Very low playercount, and most people who were on only wanted peace (peace = boring)
- Felt like trading was the only thing I had to do, and there was no one around to do even that
- Most friends left, followed one to another game

Think that just about covers it.

the first three times i quit was from lack of updates forced almost all my friends away. Last time i quit because I logged on to my account with 23 days left and my friend had taken everything but 1 of my RoW's. We were pissed at each other and I figured he wasn't going to give them back. That is the worst fealing to have the items you worked 4 years to get just disappeared. I was on the verge of quitting again until Tig came along to improve gk... I just hope bjorn doesn't turn down his work =(

I never got into it because it was pretty internet-speed-intensive for a dial-up user. Even killing bomies is a ***** because of how bad the lag is.

If you have 56k connection it should run fine. I played on it for 4 years with 56k and it only lagged a little bit. Thats all Draxx has every used for gk is dial-up. It must be your computer, or you have a slower connection than 56k from your ISP.

No I run a pretty good connection(50Kbps) for dial-up... The delay between clientside and serverside is too harsh for me to really 'enjoy' bashing. I've played some 3d MMORPGs and never had a problem playing with my connection. I mean, I could if I had the patience or will too, but I don't think GK is worth that much trouble.

I left shortly after reaching 110... nothing left to do cept lvl and the playercount had gone down a great deal... most of my friends started playing other games so i found a new game...

still pop on to see whats going on and to say hi to those i still know here since i have time left.

I've noticed that the people who don't quit seem to disproportionately be Bile followers, which makes me wonder if the tinkering with the food system was a major cause.

I can see it being a pretty big one. :(

noone did anything but sit and trade...there were 3...4 at the most poeple outside of bomb trade... all they did was "selling ...," "how much?," "15 dias.," "sorry, I don't have enough money."

The sooner you switch the less experience you lose. Also when you switch gods you lose your current spells and relics from your previous god.
