What was the most favored staff position you've had?
 

Staff positions on Graal - we've all had them, and quite a lot of us still do. I noticed a thread posted by Brad a while ago and I thought it was an interesting question, so rather than reviving it I thought I'd repost.

What was your favorite staff position you've ever held on Graal?

For me I'd probably say my favorite staff position was on Classic as Game Coordinator. I applied for the position, but I wasn't really convinced I was going to get it. When I did actually get the job I was pretty pleased, and nervous, I have no idea why. I worked there for around 6 months, which was the longest I've ever kept a staff job. It was fun at the time, and I slightly miss it, but you move on. So, what about yourself?

Manager :)

I much liked my dev positions where I had a bit of freedom involved. Manager/owner and such... not so much, I'm much more involved than that and I never liked dealing with people... especially in Graal.

I like being the zone FAQ. I never had the outstanding lust for ET like most zone players. My favorite position on graal is probaly just helping where I can and who knows where that is.

I was co-manager of a server that almost got accepted sometime in 2002, but my favorite was probably LAT Admin on Babylon before August 2006.

Probably Police on Graal2001.. I'd had positions on other servers (Namely Celestia, if anyone remembers that.) and probably a few other places ive forgotten, But Graal2001 was something special.

Definitely my untitled job on Zodiac. It was mainly a dev job but i had the rights of a manager without the officialness. Frotter and I did good! Anyone who knows me knows I don't like having the official manager/admin/head title :P

Being developer on maloria for ages, best time ive ever had on graal. Not had the same fun ever since

Well.. I have only been gfx staff as I wasn't good enough to do anything else =( Always wanted to be a GP tho xD

edit: But if I have to choose any of the gfx jobs i'll choose the first job I got, a spot in the graphics administration team xD was kind of global but only a part of the team was looking for copyrighted graphics on playerworlds while some pixelated or made ganis for graal the adventure (classic) I remember doing the ugliest pillow shaded dragon in paint ever as an application, was like the very first serious gfx I made. (this was like back in 2001/2002 or something like that)

I have a love/hate relationship with every job I've held. None are my favorites or least favorites.

Ehh...I have had so many jobs it is hard to say but it would either be:

Manager-Niromia
GAT-Era(long time ago)

and on a global level PWA in the early days, I felt as if I was fairly proactive at first. Then I got lazy and a little evil!

I'd have to say when I was Gani on Graal Legacy, my Ganing skills increased greatly from there ;) DOn't really like the server though...

FAQ/Events Team.. I've been just about every position possible. Managed two classic servers (Era and Shaded Legend) and each time the position was basically thrown to me. I hated being manager. Sure I could do whatever I wanted, but it got old by like the second week.

FAQ, and by "most favored" I mean "least disfavored".

Any of the jobs I've had on AEON, and mostly Maloria have been some of the best times of my life. RC life on those servers, especially pre-underdevelopment Maloria, were such great times. Being Co-Manager on Maloria right now, though, is probably my favorite. Not so much for the power, that's nothing special, but to bring a server up mostly yourself and to have that feeling of accomplishment really is something amazing.

EDIT: I have to say that some Japanese styled server I worked for was better in fun.

The jobs I had on Maloria...administration and design all rolled into one.

The best job... Umm... Pet Novo. =D I basically fetched the newspaper each morning.. Then got rewarded by cookies. Mmmmm... What wouldn't I do for a cookie.

Job that was the most fun for me was Administrator/Developer on Atrius a long time ago.

The funnest job I ever had was ET on Bravo: Evolved.

My favorite and only staff position is GK FAQ. I love helping people and bringing new people to the server. Well i made one level that was added to forest... and brainstormed with Draxx and Dayaa a LOT about forest Dev. I really wasn't staff but I loved improving that kingdom.

The best job i've had was Owner/Manager of Revolutions.

And currently being Pirate Kingdom leader on Kingdoms Debug.

For me, probably PR on Zodiac or something. I haven't had that many staff jobs.

FAQ on UN back in 2001 was so much fun... not to mention I was 14/15 years old.

Never thought I'd manage the server at that time.

It is a staff position because i do development work for the kingdom Island ect.

Lol I've been every position over the years but mostly LAT Chief/LAT and GFX Chief /GFX, i was NAT once but meh xD I didn't like it...even tho I can script A BIT...but not enough :)
I would love to be LAT again somewhere since I'm as good in leveldesign as in graphicsdesign :0
I got my first staffposition as LAT when I was 11 on Terra (nobody knows it :) it was a german server)

They all thought I was older... :D

Its hard for me to decide between Aeon NPC Admin and Valikorlia NPC Admin. Lots of crazy stuff happened during both that was very amusing.

I have worked on nearly every classic server, GK, and tons of private/UC playerworlds, but I have to say, the most fun I ever had was when I was NAT Admin/Co-Manager of an old playerworld called Laysuf/Endless Saga. I really miss those days, that and being NAT on Valikorlia, back when it was actually good.
