A suggestion for an RPG server
You should have it so all the armor you put on shows like a coach, cape, shoes, all that armor when you equip it, the armor shows on your graal character. Do this and your server will be good.

Yeaaah, plus players like the ability to just customize themselves at will, rather than let their armor and such dictate their appearance. They want their armor to be sheerly for defense, power, etc. Not looks.
|
That's why you make any item have almost any stat if you craft it right. Just add a few limitations for any diviations (not in power though) like some high level earth protection might only be able to be put on wood armor or something along those lines (other elements would go on other things if you catch my drift). This then moves away from the "oh, I leveled up. Let's see what my armor looks like now" sort of thing.

Right now I'm not going to be picky, I don't care what they do about that kind of stuff I just want a new RPG server.

its horrible how you plug for your servers
threads like this should be closed nonsense that people talking about there ideas in the end they come up with "you have stolen my idea" but to the thread : to see the armor or whatever you wearing is fine and nice but most time a good armor looks ugly so the people using one whitch looks better with not so much defence :P on my server you dont see the armor but wou will be able to buy clothes you see on your body and i dont say the name because promotion is lame :P |
I love plugs for stuff that's good, It's the only way I ever find out about stuff :P Is that server online? If so, what name do I type in?
|
It currently under heavily development, so no, but I'm sure you can expect a few things in the coming months.
I only mentioned it because I'm proud of it. I've achieved a lot working on it =] Quote:

Oh. Are there any RPG's coming like, this month? Rofl.
|
It's not really like it's some original idea... It's been done before many many many many times.

Maloria Zodiac Esteria Gileada (Sorta...? It's pretty different.) Endora etc, etc I think you have nothing to worry about...you just have to wait. |
And Mythic, just not online at the moment.
|
This is a good idea I see and has been a good idea. I know this was said before but I wanted to re-say it.

Valikorlia is not an RPG server.

How is it not a GAME by the way? |

OF COURSE NOT WTF. Last time I checked real life did not involve running around in armor throwing fireballs at 50 foot dragons. That and I don't think you know how Valikorlia used to be in 2002-2003. They're bringing back the level up system too. Valikorlia is the daddy of level up playerworlds. We did it first, Maloria copied us when we changed our system to non-level up. |

I'm hoping this comment might afford you a better grasp on things, because if I were to defer to typing a well-thought, meaningful explanation regarding the finer points of reality I'm afraid you may become lost. When you can click the [x] on a computer window to turn off real life, however, I'll be more than happy to support your original assertion. |

Well I really agree completely with everything Gerami speaks about Valikorlia.. and If it's anything like he's said it will be I'm super excited.
|
It's Atexia not Gileada!

I am to afraid to play Valikorlia. Once I hear "roleplay", all the thoughts in my head become pregnant men.
|
Guys, this topic isn't about whether or not Val or Mal is RPG or w/e. It is about implenting the armor suggestion to your server. :p

In 2003 under Jesse's management/level up system Val was an RPG. Assuming the new level up system is a success you can bet it'll go back to RPG. |
Crono is like a walking Graal Historian...O.o
