You should read those before making a thread. Especially the one that has 'Read Before Posting:' as it's title.

To sum it up, you should include server information. Your current staff line up perhaps, the current content (some screenshots help), perhaps what the new staff members would be doing etc... just some basic information.

Well, i did read that. But i dislike putting my ideas on graal forums because people might come across something they like. So if they are really interested if finding all of whats its about, they shouldnt have a problem sending a pm or email. But i do see where your coming from so i will say this.

8 classes from primitive/bacterial-like era
6 classes from mid evil era
11 classes from modern era
10 classes from spectral era

28 races (from your favorite classes such as dwarfs to elves)
39 main classes total
101 subclasses (when you pick one, you leave the beginner isles.)
6 different worlds

Thats about all I will post besides the images. For any further knowledge on Evo. you will have to pm or email me. I'm not in a distress or uncontrollably desperate, so i dont have a problem answering any inquiries depending on how much information it invokes me to give out here on the forum so others may read.

No, I'm cant do custom bodies. They never look right for anyone, in my opinion. Except for one server and it had the same classic body look except that the walk was a little bit different, you could barely tell but that was probably the best i have seen so far.

But the reason I got bored of every class based game or graal playerworld I've was because I got tired of being like everyone else. I hated the classes being so unbalanced on Zodiac, Maloria only had three (Heh, i think they would've rocked Classic if they added more.), Endora only had three, and Graal Kingdoms had 5 which wasn't too bad but i still preferred more variety.

Also, sorry Ibonic for the three emails. I want to thank you for all your help.

The playerworld is up. It is called playerworld130 at the moment. We are looking for NPC Development Staff, of course, we are in dire need of them. Im Nutos, pm me at the server or email at [email protected].

Sorry guys, i had a bad start of for my playerworld hiring.
 
Here is a little bit of info for you guys. My Co-Manager typed it up for me. Its alot more where this came from.

Time Period: All Eras

Alignments: None. Players will decide on thier own on what to kill and what not to kill.
Depending on what path they take will affect how much items will cost and
what information NPCs will give them. (charism)
Guilds and groups can be formed to keep players alike together. This would
promote fundamental battles against opposing guilds.

Leveling System:Players will not only gain base levels but also skill level. Base
levels are inscreased by gaining enough experience points by fighting
monsters. You will gradually increase in level with skills are you
do that particular skill more often. Skill levels are also gained
by reading certain books and talking to the local towns people.
(this will be discussed more in depth in the next section). As you
increase in level with a skill you will be able to perform more
accurately and faster without failing. Skills include:

- Professions (Mining, Fishing, Farmining, ect)
- Class Abilities (Dual Wield, Spells, Special Attacks, ect)

As you increase in base level you will gain more HP and Mana, as well
as stats (Strength, intelligence, ect. Stats will be choses manually
by the player.

Knowledge:This is a unique way of gaining stats and skill points. You can gain
skill levels or even abilities by reading certain books. Depending
on what book you read you will gain knowledge on how to use certain
weapons or how to use a certain ability or tool. For example, if you
read a book that is based on the History of Spartans, you will gain
knowledge on how to use a certain weapons and increase in that
skill level. Books will be found in local libraries and cost a fee
to use. Books can also be found on certain casting monsters. You
must have a certain amount of Intelligence to read certain books.
The higher level the book is, the more skills points or abilities
you gain.

Class System:Classes will be chosen after the player has gained 10 levels. Before
then the play can only gain a certain amount of Stats. Once a class
is chosen they will gain stats based on what class was picked and
a restriction on how many levels they can gain for a certain skill
will be set. Example:

Rogue
-----
Short Sword MAX Level: 50
Dagger MAX Level: 55
Magic MAX Level: 25
Staff MAX Level: 35

Wizard
-----
Short Sword MAX Level: 25
Dagger MAX Level: 30
Magic MAX LeveL: 55
Staff MAX Level: 50

ect.

Notice how the Wizard can surpass the rogue in Magic and Staves.
This is only an example. This will be discussed more in depth if
this system is chose to be used.

Starting Point:Players will be able to choose thier location when they begin the
game. There will be 3 starting locations/towns. Each town will server
different weapons/skills/armor/professions.

Stats:Strength - Increases Damage on melee and carrying capacity.

Agility - Increases chance of an enemy missing.
- Slightly increases attack rate.

Dexterity - Increases chance and damage with ranged weapons
- increases chance of a critical hit with ranged weapons

Intelligence - Increases Mana
- Allows player to read certain books
- Increases chance on a critical spell hit

More will Be added.

Weapon Types:Each weapon will have an identity. When players begin the game they
will only be allowed to use a limited amount of weapons such as
the standard Sword. Players will be able to use other types of weapons
as they talk to trainers, talk to the local towns people, or even
read books.

Example on weapon types:

Swords: Broadsword, long sword, Excalibur, ect

Dagger: dirk, knife, ect

Crossbows: ----

Bows: ----

ect.

Misc:- All weapons and armor can be used by any class but with restrictions.
Example:

Mages can use mail armor but it will limit their chance of hitting
with a spell.
Rogues and Rangers can use mail but it will limit their chance on
hitting with a ranged weapons and their critical hits.

- Books can only be read once.



============================This is a Beta Plan, it is still being worked on==========================

This is where it gets intresting.. but races, classes, and professions (yes professions aka jobs) will have skills and spells that upgrade automatically just for that class, race, or profession...along with the spells that they buy from the trainer. For example, your race may gain tackle or rush just from reaching a new level automatically, then you could head up to the trainer and buy more skills or read books to learn more spells.

This project which we now call Etoch, is in dire, dire need of NATs and one person to aid me with my tileset that im working on. Im a very dedicated worker with or without my team online but i also need a NAT to lend a hand. He or she doesnt have to even work for the server but to just heed a calling would be more help than i could ever ask for.

The tiles are the same as Zodiac, but you guys made it worser then Zodiac O.o
Look at the trees, just the same.. and the water.. o.o

But, I'm not gonna bash you guys, but please don't hurry a server, take your time.

Use the normal Graal tileset for now. There's no reason to use that one.

Also good luck with your project, I can see you've thought it out.

That's a edit of Zodiac's already ugly tileset. You've actually managed to make it look worse.

Let's see:

The same colours for the grass outline
The light blue water is exactly the same
The blue mushroom is exactly the same
The gray rock is exactly the same

You changed the blank grass tile and now it looks like it is rowed. You also seemed to have buttonised another tile. The trees have been darkened but the colours just seem to meld horribly now.

Delete that tileset...it's just an ugly redo of an already ugly one. Start over again and perhaps use some ingenuity. Hell: don't even use pics1.png as a base.

Im not going to use the tileset, couldnt if i wanted to. I actually felt like i just shown you an example of how much help i need on a tileset. There is something wrong with photoshop anyway, i cant get rid of the shadow effect on the edges of my image, thats what makes the bright shadow error on the grass tiles and everything else touching the edges and corners of the tileset.

For all the photoshop users, if you can tell me how to solve this problem, i would sincerely appreciate that also.

Its probably just the wooden effect i keep using. I might just change that effect, all together because i keep getting the same responses. Perhaps i will use a little more color.

The menus are bland and look very very rushed. In photoshop that could be made in under 5 minutes. It looks like you just mashed together some layer styles. The bevel and emboss style is ugly imo because its overbearing. Try to make your own textures and then add them.

Dude, STOP using effects to make graphics. Make your GRAAL GRAPHICS pixel by pixel, or not at all. That looks horrible for a 2D game.

Yeah, maybe so. Then again, ive only tried wooden effects. There is alot more that can be done besides that kind of texture and effect, for your knowledge if you aren't to familiar with the program . Thank you for your advice though. ;)

Photoshop images may seem as if they are always rushed but believe me, its nothing as easy as it may seem, for all whom aren't familiar with it so please do not judge the complication of it just by mere looks. Though the pixel by pixel art may seem more of what i may need, but i will continue posting my images and would appreciate if you guys continue to bare with me with your opinions. Thanks :)

Photoshop images are useful for some things. Especially for top quality projects. Classic servers and low-scripting servers shouldn't use such images though.

all my graphics are done with paint :O
photoshop images with a large amount of colors are totally out of place
evry server with graphics like this looks more crappy than top quality ^^

I use Adobe Photoshop. However, I steer completely clear from filters. I use it because of features that are handy such as magic wand, multiple select magic wand, layers, etc.
