Thank you Stefan

I'm amazed you are still in the office at 2:30 in the morning (your time). I may be upset about all these bugs with v5 but I'm putting that aside to thank you for your effort to bring the login server back despite the late hour (I hope I'm right about this x_x).

unixmad 07-15-2007 03:19 AM

I am also awake 3AM to help correct problems.

No thanks. If this was released for beta testing for VIP subscribers all these bugs could have been fixed before a major release.

Rapidwolve 07-15-2007 10:20 PM

Thank you Stefan and unixmad.

Come on folks, don't be cheap, pay for a Graal account. It only takes one less pizza to do it.

Sorry, I noticed you post like right after I had already submitted this thread. Since it added it to a cue, I couldn't edit it :(

I didn't forget though, thank you!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

That's the funniest thing I've ever read on the forums and basically sums up Unixmad in a single sentence.

PrinceOfKenshin 07-16-2007 01:21 AM

I have always wondered when you guys sleep because you are on a lot when i am and i live in the eastern time zone

Angel_Light 07-16-2007 01:22 AM

I love you guys! ^^ This is kinda sad but true, haha, when ever I'm blue, I play Graal and it makes me happy again! Thank-you! ^.^

Horrified 07-16-2007 02:04 AM

Thanks guys!

We would be in hell without you guys nerding it up and working on making the game more enjoyable.

Call him rude if you want, but the irony of someone else getting credit for something that Unix is ALSO doing and then Unix making sure everyone knew he was doing it too, is funny. It's like if he doesn't get all of the credit he deserves all the time then he's going to have a fit.

Talking about Unix's post on the first page.

Gambet 07-16-2007 04:54 AM

Well, I mean, it's their job to make sure the servers are running without any problems, regardless of how long they need to stay up to fix the servers. It's their business, and if they want to keep customer satisfaction from dropping, then it's in their responsibility to fix server problems as soon as possible, which they always seem to do so it's nothing new for them to stay up just to fix some problems.

I'm sure most jobs don't require you to work till 3AM because something isn't working.

And I'm sure most jobs make sure they don't have to stay up until 3 AM fixing things by making sure their systems are stable and avoiding problems from the get-go.

But, on the off chance that the systems do go down, it's the companies responsibility to get their systems back up and running as soon as possible if they have people paying for their service. This is one things that Cyberjouers seems to be good at, getting their servers up and running rather quickly when they crash. But, then again, that is their job, as already stated.

But it still doesn't hurt to show appreciation sometimes for them doing it, even though it is their job...

Oh give me a break. Everyone deserves credit for what they do. You must not be a Graal developer...

Indeed. They could copy Valve's way of doing things. Somewhere along the lines of,

It doesn't work for ya? Umm... delete the game and reinstall it...update drivers. That didn't work? Well tough **** then.

That put me off Valve a ****load when I read my mates tech support query. That being said, Valve can do that since once you pay, that don't need to care about you anymore. MMO companies do need to provide the highest level of customer care since in the end: they need your repeat business. While I don't play WoW, I know their tech support is one of the best in the world.
