The New Zone (Graal V5)
 

There has been a lot of talk about the 'new' Zone that will be introduced when V5 is released and it seems a lot of you want it to change, but not how it is going to with V5 (With the 3 hour limit for trials). A lot of people have said the new system will kill trials (again).

I've given you all a chance to vote for whether you want this 'new' Zone. Of course all the good updates will be included with V5, however the payment method is going to switch around a lot, along with the trial time limit. If you haven't read about V5, follow this link.

I responded ''No'' Because the fact the trials expires after a certain time playing. It will kill zone because P2Ps will have no1 to kill.
Yes, making new stuff like shops could be a good idea but has said, do not make super unkilable weapons. /Photon is a good example

I say, "No" to "New Zone" for one reason alone actually, and it has to do with the Trials, if they make Trials accounts expire which they plan to do, it will cause massive amounts of people to stop playing Zone, and thus making it die alongside GK.

Also, I think the cash shop would be a nice addition as long as they do not go overboard and putting, "Unfair" weapons for sale for real $.

And since huwajux forgot to mention what it is so you don't have to look through it what he is mainly refering to is the new deal with trials. The trials will go ghost mode after a period of three hours and you will have to create a new account to play because you will not be able to play after those three hours of goldtime are up. The other part of this is that you will be able to buy weapons like the powerful chainsaw for gelats (the new form of money that you buy with real money) I do not know the ratio from USD to gelats but it may or may not be favorable. I would like for those weapons if they are added to be "nerfed" to avoid large amounts of laming.

Ok, here's what I think, the ability to buy items is very good and it gives people a chance to buy stuff they haven't gotten.
I also believe that they shouldn't put all items in there, just the basic stuff we currently have. The new stuff however should be put up there and in game so that people can buy the items in game if they have enough money and buy the money out of game if they don't.
This will make it much more profitable for Graal and enjoyable for people who just pay and start so they don't feel left out of having good weapons since it takes a lot of time to save up the money, but if Graal offers the ability to buy the stuff they get money and the people who start up and purchase all the stuff then just quit Graal still makes money and the people have the items if they want to return, I believe being able to get the jetpack at the beginning will promote people to play more since the Jetpack opens up a lot more possibilities.
I also think that players should be able to trade in event items to get different items by trading the item in and maybe like 2 dollars and the item will come up for other people to trade in for or just flat out purchase for a larger sum of money.
Now the Trial situation should be changed, Zone's current population runs on at about 65% trials to a 35% P2P which will kill Zone and we don't want that, so make it so Trials have the same situation as it currently stands.

There is also a limit for trials game-wise. They are restricted to certain classes and will not be able to choose certain clothes. That is good enough to make me want to buy a membership because the other classes that I have seen that are gold only are some of the most fun classes. Along with this, trials won't be able to use Gelat for more than 3 hours.

A trial should just have restricted classes, restricted clothes, and they are not able to buy anything with Gelat. I find that to be much better than a 3 hour time-limit, restricted classes, restricted clothes, Gelat for 3 hours.

And I really want to try and emphasize that 3 hour limit.

No, no. It is just my opinion that trials CAN save, play forever, have restricted classes and clothes, and no gelat.

Wait so we will be able to buy items for zone with real money?

That sounds great, Zone player count would increase then, and alot of people would probably subscribe for the "Graal Zone" pack then just for the Looks, Gelats, and classes.

I don't know if I am allowed to say this, but one thing that will not be in ths shop is the Event Weapons, so all of you people who think Events are over, think agian. Rofl.

Also, I am just going to play Events for Chainsaws, although if everything goes right, Chainsaws should be nerfed before being able to use them for USDing.

Can someone explain to me wth is actually happening in this new zone before i vote? :S

This is what is going, on from now on instead of "Gold Subscription" their is "Graal Zone" for Zone, and "Graal Kingdoms" for GK, also they are going to make Zone have a Cash Shop, in which you buy Weapons on Zone for real $, finally they are planning on making Trials be able to Save on Zone, but have a limited time to play, and this is the big argument, the time the Trials have to play is 3 Hours, thus everyone says it will kill Zone losing the Trials population.

Buyable weapons is a great money making scheme.. But its also a EVIL scheme.. I'm poooooooooor.

Ok the deal with trials actually stems from us in GK complaining about them. They scammed a lot. The whole point of the 3 hour gold time is to tantalize them enough to actually buy a subscription. Well at least thats what staff hopes.

Now with the store. While I like the idea it will ruin zone for sure because people will start having stuff that they shouldn't and complaints will rise on the amount of lamers there will be made from this. Granted Cyberjourers will make good money off of this. I would like to see this idea also be made for Graal Kingdoms that was the USDing now would stop.

Well if GK is stupid enough to let trials scam them they shouldn't play GK. While GK already has a playerbase of 8 gold players and then the occasional trial raising the playercount to 13. It doesn't really matter for gk because you don't have anything to lose. If GK has problems with trials than GK can fix it their own way. They can bring back noober island or whatever. Zone is a playerbase of p2p's and trials. If you take away the trials then the p2p's have no idiots left to kill and then zone dies. If they are having different subscriptions then let zone do what it wants and let GK do what it wants. :mad:

Next time you quote me bold the whole sentence. Look we have a higher playercount then that. Just depends what time of day your on and wether or not people are working or in school. We did try our way. I have no idea why the gues accounts are this way. I think it was decided that they would make it this way a long time before us on GK started complaining about the trials.

Like I told you in pm's you don't have a limit on how many accounts you can make so 3 hours down oh look I will go on this new one ...oh look another 3 hours of gold time.

We are actually trying to get the gold subscriptions to be combined because its just stupid that people (especially ET's) have to pay for two different subscriptions. Especially for me. If I came down to it I would give up my ET job on zone if they messed up my dual gold subscription.

if you are going to quote pm history then you could quote what I said too about zone's trials being lazy and not wanting to have to do that. Ok I thought you were saying that it was because someone had thought whatever was good for gk was good for zone also.

I just said what I told you..lol. There was no need to quote you. You never know it might turn out to be good for zone after all who knows. But we here in GK are waiting to see what its gonna do. Apparently its supposed to be released today sometime.

If someone's stupid enough to get scammed by a trial, or even scammed in general, they don't deserve good items.

Reasons for 3 hours.

1.To kill hackers.
2.Make Unixmad more money.

hmm, I'm confused, so trials have 3 hours gold now, K but what after that? will they go back to being plaing trials? or go ghost? cause that just slaughters Zone if they go ghost... :(

As it stand now, many players are saying they are going to quit, Zone/Graal because Trial issue mostly, and the inability to be able to buy RR, Br, Photon, and/or ammo using money gained in-game.

I'm quitting because you can't play at all after your first 5 hours as a trial / classic

More weapons are going to be added to the in-game traders soon.

Just make a new trial account then =D
