Merging of Misty Mug Tavern and Bomb Trade
 
I brought this idea to Bjorn and Stefan. So far Bjorn is against it. His reason. Lazy people. Here is my basic idea.

Since the top level of MMT is useless as is I proposed to take in bomboria trade and put it there instead thereby moving it to the MMT top floor that way we have both hot spots in one. This would leave that other building open but that can always be filled with stuff and I just got the idea I was trying to find to give to Bjorn but couldn't remember when i last pm'd him.

I offer this because that one level isn't being used and you wouldn't have to go out of a building and into another one to get food and check the quests.

Your thoughts?

Ok I just like pm'd bjorn and stefan the idea i had for the empty building if i got to do this. Basically it will be a center for trials letting them know why it would be good to upgrade to gold. like for example:

Lionel: As a trial you cannot save and lose the stuff you have when you logoff. If you upgrade to gold you can save and will not lose the stuff you accumulated or progress that you made.

Another might be like:

Melissa the miner: Hello dear trial. I hear your having a problem getting iron and coal to make more stuff. Well as a trial you are limited to Bomboria and won't get to see the beautiful lands or even go into the mines. If you upgrade to gold you can explore and even go into the mines and mine the coal and iron you need.

I don't see what makes merging the MMT into the trading house any better of an idea than merging the haircut place or food shop, etc into it instead beyond "Waaaah, nobodys eating at my restaurant!!1"

And if anything is merged with the trading house, the trading house should be on the bottom floor and the extra place on the top.

I don't like this idea. I like the idea of people actually having to MOVE out of the trade room to get to places. I think we need to just leave it how it is.

No thats not the thing. God bring new concepts to try to improve the game and you ppl shoot it down. Then you whine and complain later when no updates are done. At least I am coming up with ideas.

Nice to know and I really don't care. I don't see updates come out and any suggestion i see is for new items or weapons or armor..what harm is my idea to try?

Decreasing travel time from the trading house to the MMT by placing the MMT above the trading house is a pretty marginal improvement, but nonetheless still an improvement.

However, placing the trading house above the MMT, thereby making it take longer to get to the trading house most of the time (though not much longer) would make the game worse (though not much worse).

Decided that I would make the lower level the trade area and keep the top as is..just that we would have the quest tables and the doors going into the back in there. and the stairs.

But here is my decision if they let me do this. insidemain_pub1.nw (the main part where u walk into the quests tables) will be the new trade, upstairs will be the same. the stairs, quest tables, doors in the back and script will remain that is there already..will just be clearing space to make way for the trade tables, npc and scripts that come with the tables.

Somehow this seems like it would lead to the accosting of traders by people trying to sell food.

... They took away a lot from GK, you can't PK like anywhere anymore and when you do people try to get you banned for stealing items they drop. I am totally for PK in trade rooms.

Im not. Im a weaker player and I don't want to die for trying to get better items.

Battle Mode
In peace mode you cannot attack and cannot be attacked by other players.
In Battle mode you can be attacked and attack other players.

It was fun back when you could PK in bomb trade. I remember Kilik throwing pots off people then it all ended up in a fight.

I dont see how it would be at all, infact as someone said it would make it harder to get to the trade room >_< Also why do we need to free up bomb trade for a recipe shop o.O

Allow me to make a better idea...

Two things in one room...Trade room could be on one side of the building's main floor, MMT on the other side, all in one room, maybe a wall divider between them with a slot for people to pass through?
