Crow 12-24-2006 12:03 PM

Nice design, and I love the G3D preview videos! It looks just like it should look. But you should work on these items icons, they dont fit the rest :p

WanDaMan 12-24-2006 12:05 PM

I wish I would of waited a few weeks to upgrade my account! :(

contiga 12-24-2006 12:32 PM

Same here, same here! :D :D :D
But they need to change those icons, they look ugly on these menus etc.

dNeonb 12-24-2006 02:52 PM

Merry Christmas everyone ^^

Mykel 12-24-2006 02:56 PM

I think the videos of Graal3D look really good. I'd actually love to play it. However, not to be rude, but as far as the Christmas Card thing goes, you should probably have had someone look over the english before you sent it out.

Darlene159 12-24-2006 03:23 PM

Beautiful!
Happy Holidays!

Matt 12-24-2006 03:37 PM

Triple_Darkness 12-24-2006 03:40 PM

I disagree. It gives the Unixmad personal touch to it. :D

And it looks very unprofessional to people who don't know Unixmad.

Tom 12-24-2006 04:31 PM

"Great news are coming" lol Luv ya unix! xD

anyways merry christmas everyone, and i cant wait for graal 3d to release, i might get back into 3d modelling and textures now.

Crono 12-24-2006 04:38 PM

This is awesome. I was wondering when this newsletter would come out and boom, I wake up and it's there. Graal 3D looks awesome and overall I'm impressed.

Infernix 12-24-2006 05:00 PM

Looks pretty good. But I do wonder how the more complex areas are going to look. But it looks like the gameplay seems pretty smooth and adventurous...I cant believe I just said gameplay on graal. Wish the 2d servers would get some.

Rapidwolve 12-24-2006 05:18 PM

Merry Xmas :)

Waltz5 12-24-2006 05:29 PM

The newsletter says you get a Candy Sword on GK... it's been stated in multiple places you don't. Might want to fix that.

And it might help to have someone who has English as their first language proofread and polish things like this.

Otherwise, sounds cool.

I like the sounds of that Graal Ticket idea - if it ever actually goes into effect.

Hundreds of prizes will be awarded including a Nintendo Wii console, preview tickets for Graal 3D Dungeon, Gold Subscriptions, virtual items and more!
Somehow I suspect this will cost more money than it will make.

Tyhm 12-24-2006 10:29 PM

Ah, for the days when I was the official proofreader...^_~
(Coulda saved me a Lot of wasted time making Hubworld to hold the games if I knew they were making their own Gamesworld...ah well, maybe I can get in on that post-deployment...)

maximus_asinus 12-24-2006 10:47 PM

"And the dream of fly"

Curt1zzle 12-24-2006 11:36 PM

Well we got start somewhere done we....and bad thing is it feels like they just started XD.

konidias 12-25-2006 12:31 AM

Great to see you're using the gralats idea. I also like that you're using real prizes and stuff that can be won. Let's just hope that the in-game items and stuff that you can buy with the gralats are actually worth the money, and not just stuff that should be available to everyone to begin with.

There's definitely a right way and a wrong way of doing the pay thing... if you make people pay to access levels or fly in balloons then it's going to get ugly... if you let people buy special clothing items or experience boosters then it wouldn't be so bad.

Just remember that nobody wants to pay $30+ for yearly access PLUS extra money just to get more things that should come standard... :p

_Z3phyr_ 12-25-2006 12:38 AM

I thought $19 was reasonable.

btw on a related note:
I found the e-mail I printed out when I got confirmation that I created my graal account in the bottom of a hamper filled with old VHS movies! I was like "YES!" because now if lose my account password again I can be like the only guy to ever actually have the confirmation code thingy.

Infernix 12-25-2006 03:58 AM

I thought $0 was awesome.

Only problem there.

Still Graal 3d looks awesome!
Can't wait to see it.
And obviously, develop.

Very nice.

Exactly. Paying for perks are almost always better then a pay-to-play service.

Actually, it is going to be very awesome. Used the torque level editors? I think it may be just like that.

Twinny 12-25-2006 04:01 PM

I still suck at GS2 and now it looks like Graal 3D is well and truly on it's way...i hope the language used in Graal 3D just expands on GS2 but i doubt it =p

That looks like fun though. I'd be happy playing in that dungeon in a friendly team environment ^^.
