Whats with players coming to me in shops and trying to sell me items for USD?

That's how games naturally evolve. Most end up with players doing underhanded deals out of game with USD.

Is this happening on servers other than 2K2 now?

I would laugh if it did, possibly Zodiac, but I couldn't see it happening on other servers.

This has been happening on ERA, GK, Zodiac, and Maloria (from what i know so far)

I've been on Zodiac a bit and I haven't seen any USDing going on.

What does staff even do about it when they find out about it?

You really can't do anything. It's not that big of deal, it's gonna happen.

You can't do anything, because it's all out of game.

A smart thing would be for Graal to put something on their website so you could buy things for Gold Servers.

How many people play Kingdoms now? As for Zone well eh.

Staff could do quite a bit simply by banning things like advertising the sale of items over AIM and other programs.

I think the staff have given up on GK. As for Era and Zodiac I doubt they care as most of the staff spawn items anyway.

It's more that they just never really cared. Sam pretty much admitted that the staff don't care about actually stopping USDing, just about protecting Cyberjoueurs from liability related to it.

That wouldn't do anything... just don't include staff if you're mass messaging about Selling over AIM/MSN.

You havent thoroughly reviewed all the logs have you? People have been doing it since Chrisz's Era. The only non-currupt Era was Delph's. But anyway this is about Graal and USD not Eras downfall.

Do you think you could get away with linking to trainers in mass messages by not including staff in the mass?

I was assuming it would fall under the "PM's can be easily modified so it's not good enough" routine.

Oh I know items have been spawned, but those responsible have been dealt with. Though you wouldn't know/understand that.

Yeah but lots of staff play on secondary accounts that they use to become friends with troublemakers. ;)

I'm afraid it stems beyond that, although it's not really a problem anymore. I would say, based on my personal experience with the current staff, there's a 95% chance of very little abuse of staff powers.

*shrugs* Graal Could always do away with all trading systems altogether. Then you just have to sweat people selling the account and all the Stuff with it.

Maybe it could be incorporated into Graal3d, with Graal charging USD for items in game. Hopefully not things to make people instantly better than other players.

I doubt there's much incentive for people to buy it, otherwise.

There is an extent which could be reached. Nothing too insane (items).

I could probably get alot more for my junk, but I'd rather not seeing as it sounds like a scam.

Makes me think.. I've got alot of stuff that could be sold on Zodiac considering I stopped playing.
