From now on, please resize your images - these are too large.
Also, why do you draw so lightly?

You have the settings on your scanner wrong. Try full-color 200DPI or so.

Elk 11-05-2006 11:42 PM

where can i set that o-o

That's a pretty stupid detail to nit-pick.

No it's not, and I'll base my opinion on just the same that you do, opinion.

Stephen 11-07-2006 10:17 PM

If you look dagger up on Wikipedia you will find some of the examples they show are quite long.

Oh yes, because the diemensions of old time weapons is one of the biggest parts of the artisitc discipline

Please, for your own sake, just keep quiet if you can't do anything better than that, I think I've seen that arguement used by you three or four times now, and quite honestly, it's getting tiresome to correct.

And just to counter nit-pick: A dagger is a double-edged knife, this knife has one edge, so it's not even a dagger.

And to stick on the matter at hand: Awesome job, Galdor, as always.

I'm going to have to agree here; Stop nit-picking Elk.

Skrobo2 11-07-2006 11:41 PM

Practicing with my Intuos3 I've barely got to touch since I bought. Didn't crop it, so shoot me.

And colored:

I'll probably mess with it a bit more before I call it done though, so consider it a wip.

Thats fkn awesome Galdor. And seeing that before/after is actually going to help me improve with my tablet. I've been trying to do all my lines perfect when I'm getting the basic shape, because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Seems you just come back and clean up your lines after you've gotten your shape down, then start detailing.

What did you use for colouring?

I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0. It came with the tablet, so it's all I have for the time being. Unfortunately, my prefered program, Macromedia Fireworks 8.0, doesn't support tablets.

I really like it! The coloring could be improved though I guess.

I did the coloring really quickly. I'm still getting used to the tablet, so I have a lot to improve on. I'm going to attempt shading and such with my tablet.
