Server lag problem

Last days we have detected a bigger server lag problem. It not only happens when magic is casted. Today Björn and me have tried to dig holes for farming. We wasn't able to see the holes nor to plant things. Björn checked script, grafics and ganis. Everything was okay.
I wonder if only european people notice that.

Well, it's happening to me, and I'm on the East coast of Canada. Every once in a while it'll have a lag spike for me, where the server side things such as door, monsters, ect don't function for a few seconds. But it happnes quite frequently!

Yup, since 1-2 weeks graal is having problems.

yeah

i having all same symptoms, not being able to dig holes, delayed hit on monsters and such.
What do you think could have caused it?

SayianOozaru 09-25-2006 01:16 AM

Im getting very bad lag on every server. On Graal Kingdoms, I can wait 30 seconds to walk out the door (even though it gets annouying), But when fighting, and having spells cast then not do damage or disapear half way through, I cant stand that.

I think this should have been put under Graal Main Forums, because I get this type of lag on all servers on Graal. Maybe its just me?

It looks like someone has disabled the shovel, but I have not experienced any lag.

You haven't noticed any lag, delayed doors, delayed everything? Every once in a while it has a lag spike, maybe every 5 minutes, 10, or 30. The game can't be taking all my bandwitdh, basic DSL should be fine and this game isn't really "taxing" on my computer.

You didn't? How long have you played? Did you cast magic? did you try to dig a hole? does it works for you on GK? Contact me in game and I will show it to you.

myth-simba 09-25-2006 08:50 PM

yeah

it is lagging as everyone has said.
Kinda embarrasing aswell.

zephirot 09-25-2006 09:11 PM

Why is it stikied?

Magadal 09-26-2006 02:49 PM

Digging holes is no problem. But sometimes it just lags. You cant do anything. You cant open doors, you cant kill bomies, you cant equip/unequip things...and the lags there at the same time for all the people on the server.

Zero Hour 09-26-2006 03:23 PM

Perhaps GK isn't causing the lag - perhaps another server (if there's more than one on the machine) is causing the lag?

Draenin 09-26-2006 03:42 PM

I dunno. Last time Kingdoms was causing it.

hampy 09-27-2006 08:32 PM

Eh, i cant even get into bomb trade the lag is so bad right now, then i get warped into hotaru magic shop where i was trying to enter about 5 mins ago >.<

cyan3 09-27-2006 11:23 PM

GK is laggy for me and my computer almost never lags so it must be graal.

protozero 09-30-2006 02:35 AM

It seems ot be lagging more and more everyday. Now it takes some time for the houses to appear while cruising around main.
