Pool Billiard Game (on Serverlist)

1 Attachment(s)
A new game is available for VIP: Pool Billiard - just click on the Games tab
or on the Games World and you can play billiard against the computer or
other players, or watch other players playing and chat.

There is 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Straight and Snooker.

In all games you can chat while playing against other players now, so it should be more fun.

Hope you like it :D

Kevin made the graphics for the billiard game, I have scripted it, plus we have bought an existing billiard game for the physics.

KuJi 08-31-2006 09:42 PM

Hey, I tried installing the activex control.. anyone mind forum pming or putting a link here (if allowed) to download it. I guess the one I tried wasn't it?

Admins 08-31-2006 10:48 PM

Normally you get it automatically with Internet Explorer, otherwise try http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash
(with Internet Explorer)

Ah, thats why it wouldn't work with firefox I guess?

Admins 09-01-2006 12:27 AM

Yes when you go on the site with Firefox then it will only install the Firefox plugin, not the ActiveX one (not sure why, we have made a Graal plugin which works on both).

When will we get Mac? We pay for the game, and expect updates for the Mac, not just Windows. Graal may be a game, but we still pay money, and it is expected as with anything that we get service that we where promised :[

Sorry, but I'm sick of no updates for the Mac. Wheres RC? We've only been waiting 9 months for the online level editor, which was broken in 4.1 ...

Sorry for spam :*[

Admins 09-01-2006 02:10 AM

The level editor thingy will be fixed in the next version, already fixed it in my. We are currently working together with Skyld to improve the Client-RC to let it have the same functionality like the normal RC.
The Flash thing is more complex, and like I said it is more important to make the games fun enough before spending time on the Flash integration on Linux and Mac, because it is a lot of work and we better spend the time on something people will enjoy.

Problem: GUIs crash my Mac, so it doesnt matter how good the Client-RC is ...
Thanks for the response :o

My scores are not listed anymore. I've played several games today and hit high scores, but it doesn't show it. did I make a mistake, or is it a bug?

Admins 09-02-2006 11:15 PM

Fixed the scores, you need to play the game one time to get the score readded

Worked by Aztek, but not by Bubbles and ABC Bricks. I've played those too, but I am not on the score list (which I should be because I got more points than others, who are listed). Maybe you need to fix all my scores.

Darlene159 09-03-2006 03:06 PM

Do we not get scores for single player?

Well normally you need to play the game one time (get 10 points or whatever) and it will readd your top-score to the top-20

If you read my post again, I said "single player". You can play pool against a computer opponent. My question was if we are suppose to get scores in single player mode.

The computer keeps beating me also. Sad part about it is, the computer opponent sucks. Even sadder is that I use the guide. :frown:

I know, but it doesnt works. I just did Bubbles after your last restart today. It's bad be the winner but it don't count your score :\ If you want, I can make screen shots from other games with similar results without getting on score list. Here are the results:

I think this is a bug but I entered a room betting 10g each. I win, the other guy loses 20 but I didn't get anything or lose anything.

I was against Arann, my irl brother, so is it because of the IP's?

The ips are not a problem.
Normally that case cannot happen, it was closing 6 seconds after restarting the billiard match. I can refund the 20 gralats since it logged that it didn't give anything. I will also try to investigate why that happened.

Alright.

He lost the money, mine just stayed the same. His account is Arann.
