Subscription Bonus

My idea is after an account is upgraded about 3 times, the next upgrade of any subscription could be around 25% off.

Also something that can let you create your own package, so incase you only need a single thing you can get it without paying for a full package of things you dont need.

Ideas?

I like this idea, alot in fact. Especially the create-own-package idea, that one is awesome.

I think you should be able to freeze your gold time, for example if your going on vacation for a while and you won't be playing Graal it would be nice to keep the gold time you have left (until you log back on)

excaliber7388 07-23-2006 09:35 PM

Not bad ideas :D

If that were to happen cyberjouers monthly/yearly profits could possibly decrease greatly, if im thinking correctly. x_x

KuJi 07-24-2006 01:42 AM

What about recurring payment monthly therefore you dont have to quit graal in 1 year.. just in 1 month :o

Matt 07-24-2006 02:36 AM

I think the subscription lengths are fine.

Recurring is automatic, which cant be done via PayPal and/or PayByCash im sure. I could be wrong.

Im sure thats been thought about, but money is an enormous factor, obviously. I think small things should be worked on before upgrading a stable version of the client.(Except the release this week) Im sure hiring some who knows PHP/SQL would do Graal good, just my opinion.

hampy 07-24-2006 11:55 AM

They already have something like 5 behind the scenes people who develop graal just aren't known about like stefan and unix

Do you know? I want to know!!! :P

Matt 07-25-2006 10:08 PM

I highly doubt that, it would've been stated on these forums or even on the site. x.x

You see you should talk with unix more, you would know these things. I believe graal employs 5 full time staff including unix and stefan. The other 3 don't play because they need to spend their time focusing on development. Ask either for yourself >_<

hampy 07-26-2006 08:35 AM

I think one of them spends his whole time changing Graal3D so I guess that would be quite a big job

maximus_asinus 07-26-2006 05:34 PM

Graal had something going on with Nintendo a couple years back for one of the hand held systems I think, but that eventually fell through. I don't think they'd be a serious competitor in today's realm of consoles and technology, unless they start making stuff on the Havoc engine or something.

Malinko 07-26-2006 07:11 PM

I remember reading about someone stating that when purchasing or upgrading an account, there should be a "reference" link, so if someone got a lot of reference, then he or she could get a discount or something on their next account purchase or upgrade.

The original idea and whoever just made the idea I stated, I'm sure it can be worked and compromised into something if planned correct.

I don't know who Jagen is, but they are full time paid staff who work with unix (in same building)

Matt 07-26-2006 08:00 PM

Anyway back to the topic, i like that referral idea, as stated in Malinko's post. The 2 ideas would be great together.

Matt 07-26-2006 10:33 PM

hampy, replying to my "personal message" would have been more appropriate , since this has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.:)

Kevin and Stefan?

Kevin works on Graal3D.

Stefan is Stefan. If you don't know what he does, then man, I don't know what to say.

Matt 07-28-2006 01:31 AM

Coupon codes would also work i think.
