Era Inside

I need some opinions on this one. I can't figure out any good floor tiles.
I wanna keep the lightblue but can't do anything else, BRAIN BLOCK LOLx!111 Anywho, I would appreciate any help, ratings, etc. I attatched one with my carpet and another just blank with the lightblue. Halp. Edit- Added things people suggested. Seems I'm digging the red. |
That level is boring.
|
aren't all Era levels boring? they don't use tree tiles as a house border so its obviously boring. LOL AM I RIGHT EVERYTHING IS BORING because its not a big jumble of tiles all around the tileset.
I like it |
1st one I like more. Look at your own room for inspiration.

Pretty darn cool. However, I would not own a jive-ass carpet like that blue one.

Stay away from random floor tiling, crono. I like the different colored borders around the bed and couches, but make them straight, not randomly curvy.
|
This is why I hired Crono.
P.S. I like the last two. |
Not crazy about the weird rugging around the bed and couch. I'm feeling the second one. Not bad.

Here's the all red and all blue ones with a more straight carpet.
|
the levels look the same add some more stuff make it want the player to be there insted of having it like that it is plain and boring
j/p but when u want to make the levels better dont have it the same with diff carptes do more better floor or sumthin |

Do you have carpet that goes like that? Or rugs?
They're square, not weirdly spatular shaped. I like the level, I just want to see it with normal carpet. ;) |
POWER TO THE MESSED UP CARPET!!!
My first era level from ages ago: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...chmentid=24671 |

Is this straight enough?
|
Much nicer. I like it alot, but the carpet how it goes into the dark part on the edges doesnt work with the red. Perhaps try a darker red (if there is one) or another dark carpet.

Looks much better

It's hard to make a really good looking inside level with era's tileset (well actually, I think you can say the same about outside levels too).
However, I think your level does a pretty good job of making a 'current' room, and it doesn't look half bad. :) |
So any more comments on the insane curve vs straight screens?
|
That looks much better, Crono.

The outside was huge... that's why it was removed. :p

Little Resizing never hurt. lol Hm I think I might remember it, was it on the southwest?
Btw weren't cell phones sold in a store between the Casino and the Snowland place? |

I don't get why there isn't a wall showing on the south side of the wall border. Maybe it's a new trend Era is setting, ironic. |
I like the 2nd.

they were sold there and you would just say the command to buy it there wasnt like a visual npc that said anything about selling it.
|
might be a little late but im sitting here copying and running threw the forums make it with a lighter wood floor where the red carpet is keep the rug type things though
|
Those carpets are sicknasty.
they are like 3 solide colors. Gross.. ditch those and find new ones and maybe you have something |
Wow, that was a while back. I don't use those tiles like that anymore. Figured it just doesn't work with this tileset. :[
|
I started photoshopping pieces together and then lost interest...but anyways, You should put in some walls, even if it is only a one bedroom apartment you would still have the bedroom and then everything else. You should then use your dark blue rug tile where appropriate (as a welcome mat for the front door, a large rug underneath the couch's and coffee table, etc). I also realise that the tiles are off but make do.
|
Great idea. I'll try that out.
