I started a while ago but forgot about it after my exams, I'm back now to work on it.
Please keep discussion in this thread to a minimum, thanks. It's making steady progress (The map), and should speed up when I get a reply back from Cor to help out. But before I do anything major to the map, is there anything you would want on the map that others do not. I.E. Larger inside areas, remote controlled turrets, forcing teamwork among players. 1 that I would like myself, is a height factor. You see, when on the top of the base1 bunker for example, all it is, is the same level ground but things around it giving a sense of height. I've made large watch towers where people can sniper from and through grenades. When throughing the grenades, depending on the height you are, the farther down the grenades will fall. Giving a true sense of height. The map will have jetpacks disabled, no vehicles, automated turrets which can be controlled and used from your base. Cameras to look through to see certain areas of the map quicker (Or just to watch people die, if your on the dropship). The crawl feature is put to good use, find out later ;). There is a bit of tactics involved, shooting will go through base doors. Getting into the opponents base is extremely hard work, unless you pull together with teammates, because of automated turrets, only 2 entrances, cameras to see if there are incoming enemies. Also, a large radar that covers the whole map will be placed in a room in the bases (Hasn't been discussed yet). When entering the enemy HQ, if someone beats you to the flag, do not worry. As you can shoot down the enemy's hardware, turrets controls etc. But there will be a new support class that can repair them. More info soon. So please make suggestions and you will be notified if they are accepted (It will be edited into this post). |
A net (Like Graal Kingdoms/Graal Bomy Moon) so you can trap people with the flag. A /kickfromteam function to stop people trying to help the other team.

I've replied to Huwa. Only problem is the multi-hour time difference.
A support class should be added to restore damaged hardware/turrets/whatever. And note that it should be STRICTLY A SUPPORT CLASS. And I like the whole height idea, not sure how it would work though. Also, make sure that team work is worthwhile, or else the map will be a flop. |

it looks awesome, kinda dissed by no jets but watevah, anyway i have 2 questions: a.will flag be able to have mellee attack, and b. is this gonna be a new planet?. also i think the kick from team option is great cuz i hate ppl who block the doors or **** to help the other team. also if there is no attack for flag please add that it would be nice. not alot of damage maybe 20 and like marusma speed maybe just a bit slower and about 15-20 energy.

More Updates
Here is some more information about the new map. It will explain the tactics used in new classes.
There will be new classes. Attackers Will have the more 'powerful' weapons. Used for attacking the opponents base from the outside. Weapons: Minedetector Pipebomb, Frag Grenade, Gas Grenades, Grenades Aprippers, r51 Stormrifle, Enhanced Pulsar, SMG, Shotgun Chaingun, Mortar, Rocket Launcher (Now able to be fired from specific 'Explosive' bases) Defenders Equiped out for defending inside and outside of the base. Weapons: Minedetector Armor - Yes (Bought) Pipebomb, Gas Grenades, Proximity Mines (Only able to be placed within a certain radius from the base) Appirces, Apripper, Kv9, g18 lRpulsar, Plasmarifle, SMG, Shotgun Flamethrower, Icecannon Assassins Equiped for attacking and defending inside bases. (LoS might be used for inside bases to aid to this class). Assassins pistols will be silenced. Weapons: Minedetector, Stealth (Will be a passive skill, when staying still for a while, you will turn almost invisible and be able to attack people passing by from behind. You will return visible if you move too much) Apripper, Kv9 Crossbow Icecannon Muramasa, Combatknife, Garrote Engineer Able to use remote control turrets and repair defenders armor and doors. (Doors will have to be destroyed to gain access. A good way would be to mortar the doors to quickly access) Weapons: Gas Grenades g18, apripper Kv24 Flamethrower Flag Thief The only one able to take the flag. 50 exp is gained for scoring with the flag. Has only 2 weapons, so attackers are best to help protect him on his way. There can be only 1 Flag thief. Crossbow Combatknife The medic will also be in use aswell. But if a medic heals the other team, "Traitor" will appear above their head and their own team will be able to kill them. The Traitor sign will dissappear after 5 minutes. Now don't go "OMG I R B ASSASSIN AND ATTACK0R". Because assassins will die straight away out in the open. And defenders get as many kills as attackers, due to attackers...attacking. |
can you add a NO VULCAN ALLOWED sign in the middle it would be a nice touch :)
