Hsod>tower the way I see it, Tower should be better in some way, no? :whatever:

Well I suppose I never actually used one so I wouldn't know and I didn't know the stats 'till now but those stats aren't all that great though...

Str+1 on any shield is a lot to ask for.

I suggest either a) putting in reflect missiles or b) taking of the speed-1

1. its old and deserves str +1 ;) 2. putting in reflect missiles would be hard 3. taking off speed -1 would be nice, but not exactly enough, When I think of "tower shield" I think of ((and really I do)) speed-3 ac+7, lol now thats insane sooo ya catch my drift, a tower would be strong so why not str+1 speed-1 ac+1-2? :O

Str +1 isn't really what it should be...

it's a tower shield, not a castle shield...
i'm thinking some damage added would be not so bad. maybe damage +3 added, and take away reflect missiles... and every EA added, it addes more damage. not so bad eh?

My horned shield has been around a long time, lets add con to it.

ac+2 is not bad, maybe a nice resist added

I would say add con instead of the reflect missles if anything.

I dont think that old Event Items should be made stronger at all.

Ive got a 2 of a kind shield that doesnt really give anything good cept ac+2, but i dont care about stats and love it!

You would think a shield as rare as the Tower Shield would have better stats than a HSoD.

My Demon Shield (ac+2, armour+90, resist fire+10) could be considered better than it, yet it's not worth near as much as a Tower Shield.

*agreed* Its a big and heavy shield it needs to slow you down. But could maybe use some more AC.

My suggestion would probably be to take off the speed- and add a few AC, as Lance suggested.

My shield only gives ac+2 some armour and some resist cold+10 or so, should i start crying around too? I dont think so, iam glad that I have it because its rare, not because its "good".

Event items should be reasonable, should have hsod stats as maximum, rather less good stats.

I understand the speed - in terms of the RP and whatnot. A tower shield (IRL) is a massive shield that would take quite a bit of strength to use at all, no matter use effectively. It is that large for the main purpose of stopping arrows, thus the reflect missles stat. In my opinion, the best idea here would be to keep the speed - but add atleast 2 AC to it or give it a con + 1 stat.

I remember when there used to be a lot of tower shields around. I saw those more often than HSoD. That was before Alchemy, though.

Well, since a hook isnt a very good item, and most pirate kingdom items are outrageously expensive, especially those that can be seen (thus making one look....piratey), the average everyday CP member doesn't have much choice in the matter.

tower shield also isnt the best looking shield around either how about shange the gfx and give it new stats
