You can do that in v4, I've had people from other servers that are using v4 PM me aswell

Unless it's fully public now, it's limited by an account name list for a for testers.

v4 is not public, yet. There is still a lot of things that need to be fixed/added to it. Luckily, I'm a tester ^^, so I get to use it early. A feature that it has is a global playerlist, in which you can speak to others that are in a different server then you (only classic/hosted/gold/graal 3d tab servers).

Yes, some restrictions will be made. Right now you could do a global mass message if you felt like it. o.o

Edit: To the Gold, Classic, and Hosted servers only. You can PM from Under Construction Servers but not to them.

One main restriction is that you need a Gold/VIP account to send/answer messages from one server to the next.

About the transparency over tiles, where did you hear that? I'm testing v4 and I have not noticed anything of the sort at all.

Maybe people should be given the option to disable PMs from other servers (if not already there).

I looked and I didn't see it Spark. It could've been in another spot though. If its not there, you're right, it does need to be added.

When you recieve a message via someone else on another server, a PM bubble appears (well, if the server accepts bubbles anyways), and then when you open your playerlist, you will see a pm bubble next to: Account name (on servername) and then you double click to open the message and viola.
