Graal Windows Requirements

Graal Game Client for Windows
Minimum Requirement:
Windows 98/Me/2000/NT 4.0 SP3/XP
DirectX 8.0
Pentium II 300MHz (or equivalent)
64MB RAM
Internet Connection (56kbps Modem)
50MB Hard Disk Space

Recommended System:
Windows 98/Me/2000/NT 4.0 SP3/XP
DirectX 8.0 or Higher
Pentium II 350MHz or Higher
128MB RAM or Higher
Internet Connection (Modem or LAN)
100MB Hard Disk Space
Video Card (640x480x16bpp or Higher)

Shouldnt the minimum and recommended be higher? I played Graal on a Pentium 2 350MHz and it was SLOW.

Why not re-do these, this isnt 1.39 any more XD.

Just because it was slow does not make it unplayable.

But more than 100mb of disk space is required now, as my graal folder has nearly 300 MB of graphics alone I believe.

Yeh, graal gets bigger the more you play. But still, the Recommended should be raised. Especially with Graal3D coming out.

i play graal on a pentium 350 mhz and its okay on non-filled servers lol

With v4 I can play on Zone with 450 Mhz without lag :) The same for Graal Kingdoms. I think the minimum requirements are ok, as long as you have installed a good gfx card driver and there are not 20 players near you.

Sliced bread isnt that great....Is it better than antiseptics???? Huh is it?

Hey Stefan...you should let me beta test v4 because I have nothing better to do.....

Just because the computers have the same statistics does not mean they will run the game at the same speed... I'm betting mostly anything Stefan only uses his computer for coding and you probably games, and other multiple programs. I run graal on a 3.60ghz processor, 250 gig hd, 1 gig ram, Radeon X600 Series, windows xp professional service pack 2, direct x 9.0c and I can tell you that it does not run so smooth even on this system.

Maybe this says something about Windows.

Windows runs games fine, assuming your computer isnt made out of spare parts you found in a junkyard.

Velox Cruentus 03-31-2005 10:49 AM

v4 = A mix of G3 and G2. Basically... It's the G3 system with the G2 external playerlist.

Leasure-13 03-31-2005 02:28 PM

On my computer when I am on a server and they have a mini map (all servers do) and I have it turned on...my computer lags like a mobo. Once I turn off the mini map it works just fine. This is for every server.

Tip of the iceberg dude. I've heard that it has so much more, but I wouldn't want to postulate that I have permission to talk about it.

Mitch 04-02-2005 12:40 AM

The operating system isn't relevant in this case, I'm suprised you brought that up. I'm already aware of the problem I'm simply suggesting it matters what is virtually inside the computer to determine how the actual client runs.
