Mineral transporter waggon help

For the new map that is in planning we need a special little waggon for transporting the minerals from the mining field to your home base. They can be attached to hoverbikes to transport them faster. So they should have a futuristic look and be small, not deep, without wheels.

This wagon was posted in a separate thread earlier. I deleted the thread and moved the image to here for organization purposes. Sorry for that mistake. This is my submission for the wagon.

Aside from the fact that the up and down sprites are completely and utterly wrong.

andrewholmes 12-14-2005 06:44 AM

shouldn't it have wheels or ice skates on the bottom of it depending on the type of map?

If I didn't then why the hell would I have posted? So it can attach to a hover bike, but it looks like it would just drag on the floor. It looks like an oven tray more than a wagon...not very futuristic to me.

someonesomewhere 12-15-2005 08:45 PM

Andy is correct, it does look like an oven tray, albeit a futuristic one.
And as far as I can tell, the up/down sprites are wrong because they show all of the windshield thing. it should show some sort of line, maybe curved, not the entire thing.

No, the up and down sprites are wrong. I already said that... You quoted the post that I said that in!

Sometimes people do stupid things... and why would it drag on the ground? The hoverbike doesn't have wheels, or skis, and it doesn't drag on the ground... Chances are that the wagon would *gasp* HOVER! :O

icemaster 12-15-2005 10:07 PM

has anyone read x-x

this was almost a year ago, theres no use in arguing about something that probably wont be in zone for a long time (if in zone at all)...other wise...this would have either been already in the game or would have been brought back again by stefan or some other admin.

Ok, then it should have something to make it look like it can hover, like mini rockets or something on the bottom of it.

Zulu15 12-16-2005 05:23 AM

This is the future it probably has an anti-gravitational device, and besides, I doubt that its even possible to mantain it stable with "mini rockets".

And as Touya said, this thread is almost a year old, why do you keep posting on it?

Becuase I feel like it? and the "anti-gravitational device" should atleast be visible... I'll stop posting in this thread though.

Hover bikes don't show anything keeping them in the air. They just move up and down.

VulcanP2P 12-17-2005 03:00 AM

eh...Why bring back a ten month old thread? x_x
