Poll: What are your skills?
 

I was just wondering since most people on forums are/have been staff what are the skills you are best at?

I can do anything really :X, Not npc scripting, Know the basic's.

I say I can make levels and draw, but really I just know how (I'm not that good). I can make ganis just fine, but I don't qualify that as a real skill (even though there is a difference between good ganis and bad ganis). So my strong point would have to be scripting. Sorry I wasent thinking about the people with no skills lol but ansering whoevers question that was down there xD I as pretty well good at them all Im not the greatest scripter and I cant make lights that dont involve graphics.

I have no Graal Skill because I just play the game.

Note: I'm good with people so...I'm a good Relations Manager.

I'm best at being a corrupt jerk, who larls around all day doing nothing productive. I think my strong points are making sure people know when they're being stupid, and helping to enforce that it never happens again through the abuse of power.

I consider myself a Developer, I can do everything, but of course I always looked forward scripting.

Ok, I am going to have to go with Creative Design. Oh, ****, we don't have any of that in graal either.

How about 3D Rendering and Animation? Godamnit, none of my important skills apply to graal.

Professional Role Playing? Ugh, surely one of my skills is useful in graal.

Hmm, ya, in that order, and they do indeed apply to graal. Yey.

Mostly scripting, but I also can do ganis, graphics, lights (why is this a catagory?), and sound. I also do levels, but not nearly as well as scripting.

Scripting if I got back into it... but that was like 4-6 years ago. I can still branch out and break down a program a heck of a lot better than some people I know IRL. Then Player Relations and Hosting Events since I do that now... Lights are cool too :D... but I'm nowhere near as good as some LATs today... and I sure am the worst at any GFX what-so-ever. Did I mention that I have never tried making a gani? I know some are scripted but that just goes back to me being rustier than King Tut's lost bucket.

I'm a GFX guy. Ganis should just be a skill that goes along with GFX.

Now, how is hosting events a skill?

i make things. sometimes. that's what i'm good at. being unspecific and unreliable.

Only thing I've been able to do well in is Ganis. x_x

I shall choose Scripting, though I have hardly scripted anything recently.
I claim to be slightly GFXish skilled as well, though I lack the expertise for anything really interesting.
I have not bothered with levels for years, so who knows.

I can make levels too. Don't ask me why, I just consider being able to make good GFX a more practical skill. More fun, too.

I'm pretty picky about what consitutes a skilled LAT. Ideally, I think an LAT should be able to draw out a map, plan an outline for a town, and keep things well organized. Being able to keep a well done and organized map layout is just as important as the actual tiling.

Oh, and I hate when LATs use tiles in ways which they weren't intended to be used.

Scripting here. I've been told I'm an above average LAT, but most dislike my work. Scripting is more usable, and flexible, and fun.

I was an FAQ on Classic for a short time, but had to resign; didn't have enough time for Graal anymore :eek: A Graal addict's worst dream...

Wow there are allot more sripters then I thought there were but it seems they are the hardest to find but maybe cause thats what they are best and but dont like doing it or they suck even worse at everything else xD anyhow thank for voteing though I think more people said dev then was really appropriate you just closed to it then just a LAT but you really arent there yet xD
