Welcome Graalians, My name is Gareth ^.^
Yesterday Sehkai, my playerworld was payed for. im not sure how long it will take to go up. But i do know i will be needing staff to help me out with development.
So, i will be hiring all sorts of people! From GFxers to Scripters, GAts, nats...everything o.o And if you can do any of these (Preferably Scripters and gfxers for now seeing as how we dont have a tileset o.o)

What kinda server will it be? o.o

Well, the server will be set in modern time. It would be a hevily rp based server.
As in, there would be a polcie system and even a crime system. Lets say...Someone gets pked in the city area (There will be 3 areas:City,Residential,and Slums)
Police npcs will be activated in that area and take the pker down. Im going to try and make the server be as realistic as possible so as to provide an interactive environment.
So, techincally is a modern version of morrowind :O

Anyways, i am in dire need of good Scripters and gfxers. I have all the ideas and details. But i require help for them to become real. Post here if you are, and are willing to help. Note: The server is not up yet due to errors and someone being on vacation still :O

Fool, i didnt start this up for kicks. I started it because i wanted to do something. And make a server, a good oen where everyone can have fun. And the jackasses get kicked out of. Basically the complete opposite of what era is right now...Pk...crazy, barely any rpers. A bunch of wannabe thugs...Its annoying as heck, and rs is the only reason i stay on that server.

why buy a gold account? for a mere 20 dollars more you can have your own server!
why do you think 1/3 of the graal population owns their own server? cuz they are so rediculously cheap.

I can do graphics, but why would I want to do them for you? I hate modern themes and what makes you think you will get your server off the ground when so many others fail miserably? :whatever:

You say it will be fun as if it's a fact, as far as I have known "fun" was always opinion oriented. You may say fun, I may say corny, downgraded "the sims" clone.

I'm not a fan of modern-oriented themes myself, but your presence in this thread is not needed. The topic is about people wanting to work for Sehkai, not to critisize it. Seriously, just leave.

Please don't consider yourself oh-so-important. This forum is not large by any means, and I had been reading this thread for quite some time. (Been waiting to see what Kai was going to say about the translation, heh.) It's not my fault the threads I choose to participate in are filled with your ignorance.

I'm not being ignorant, I asked the man a couple questions. Why should people work for him, what is the benefit? Why does he think his server will fare so much better than all the others? He has answered one of them, but not the other, why don't you mind your own business and let me ask my valid questions?

I Will tell you what i plan on doing with this server.
For one, i want it to be something EVERYONE can enjoy.
Pkers, Rpers, whatever. This server will be realistic in many ways, Such as the police system...and much more ^.^ As ive said, these systems...leveling, skills, etc...Wont be possible nor will the tileset or the server its self unless i get some help.
But even if i dont get any help, i will continue trying. Even if i have to work my *** off to learn all that is needed to get done. I will not give up...ever

I hate modern themes, that doesn't mean I can't do modern themes if the concept is worth putting effort into.

Its not just modern theme man, Its present theme. There wont be any lazers, or freaking bogus crap. For events there will be Hostage situations, Bank robberies, etc.
This is going to be an active server...But it will also require lots of work. The concept:
If you think working for a server that is not deticated to making guns and cool modern crap, but making a modern set world where players can interact and do things they couldnt in a mideival time..Putting as much imagination into it and at the same time keeping it realistic, Is worth your time and effort. then let me know, but if it isnt then dont bother posting here any more.

The average graal player wouldn't be capable of even this much RP. Sad, but true. Funny that you use thugs as a situation though, because I garuntee you 90% of your server will be people that consider themselves "thugs" and then 10% of people will be "playing house" and getting PK'd by the thugs.

And there will be people that are cops "encouraging" the thugs to not run around like fools and shoot people. Stuff like JailBreaks and GangRaids will be done involving the police :O

Well, goodluck with it, if you need graphics done here and there your free to use me as a resource from time to time, however I'd rather not be staff, as I may not always be available.
