he said they overpowerd I paid so much for those gloves and now that ***got lance want to fix the dam

I think you summarized it pretty well. I already removed your gloves, and unbanned you even. I will not have you trading it with the knowledge that the stats will go down (and not telling the person you are trading it to).

I am sorry for my ignorance , but I thought those gloves were given out by you lance to replace illegal items taken from people ,I thought you even gave out a serpent cloak or such . I most likely am wrong but thats what I heard

Incorrect. Serpent cloaks were distributed by James during his short reign here.

Serpent gloves (the issue here) have been a bit of a controversy since their release. They were given away as an event prize some time ago by either Darkvillin or myself. However, there was a problem with them: the damage was not intended to be stackable as it had turned out to be.

Many months ago, Raelyn and Fenix had done a trade for Serpent Gloves. However, this occurred after I'd asked Fenix not to trade them, because the stats were being fixed. There was another pair given out as well, but the owners were instructed to not trade it without the knowledge that the dam+ would be removed at any time. Someone did not pass this knowledge on, or someone decided to take the chance anyway, and it had been traded somewhat since then. To make a long story short, the stats were fixed on debug but never transferred to GK, and eventually Moonite ended up with a pair. This brings us to now, or at least to pre-this thread.

perfect marks got wc 4+ and mine has only 1+! so 10 damage dont really make them "overpowerd"

It's used in this case to mean lowering/removing some of the stats.

Except that they were not designed to have that much damage.

Eh..It's still somewhat unfair. When he bought the item, he paid for the item, and part of it is being taken away..there is no true way to replace the dam+ on the item or whatever it is that is being nerfed.

However, there are several ways to be civil about it and try to negotiate something fair.

I have a question , the angel shield has the same stats as when hurumi first had the shield I assume , So in that case its an existing shield never questioned by you lance when hurumi was queen etc. Now that non staff have it , its ruled too powerful. Can I correctly assume there is a double standard or perhaps not a double standard but ok for staff not ok for you player standard

I had never actually seen the statistics of this object to have known that it was so grossly overpowered. I cannot fix what I cannot see, now can I?

Don't mind me intergecting, but keep in mind, we all very well know there is no winning here, so just piss and moan, bend over, and take it up the tail-pipe. Moonite, I'm sorry for your loss, incredibly, but I can't say anything to help really.. Let's hope you can try to compose yourself and get some compensation out of this.

He blew that when he forced me to remove it myself. He blew any second chances when he made this awesome thread.
