Baddies is finally put to rest.
 

At approximately 1:30 AM EST on June 5th, 2004, one of Graal's oldest guilds was finally disbanded. Baddies was disbanded by King Clops, because, in his words, he "didn't feel like running it" anymore. Sad day in Graal history. :frown:

Anymore most guilds just let anyone in, and the ones who dont, the members are just mean and nasty...Guild wars arent even fun now, because you have members massing stupid crap about how lame this person is, and dissing the guild...now I realize that is part of the fun, but some of these guilds carry it too far, and get mad, which ruins the fun...I am all for taking a guild seriously, but the fun has been completely taken out of it from anger, and some who think they are God's gift to pk'ing.

I used to have so much fun on Classic pk'ing the TCN guild, because they were very good and only used their swords...and for the most part never treated their opponents like they were worthless because they couldnt beat them.
That hasnt been the case for a long time now, with most guilds.

Guilds arent the same as they used to be, just like Graal isnt the same as it used to be...

Pretty sure SM is dead, as is Hack Corps =( my first guild

NBK and SM are still alive >_>
And Hoss is trying to recreate Baddies.

LOG is dead. SM has been brough back. Haven't seen NBK. Haven't seen much of TAW. Ventrue Vampires/The Sabbat is quite active, and quite old.

A couple of us still kick around on N-Pulse occasionally and we did a little recruiting recently... But our leaderman has totally lost interest in Graal as have everybody else that has admin power in the guildCP...

We can still get the guild managed, but it's hard when a guild of about 170+ people has 5 active members.

I really think letting this "Highlander" guy take over Baddies it what did away with it. I believe it was his idea to bring it to the playerworlds, where they recruited a lot of people not fit for the guild, thus bringing it down. Many Baddies have now joined SM and NBK. As soon as I get a response from MagicTux to see if he can restore all my guilds (seeing as how my password was stolen), I'll be rejoining NBK, as well.

Yoshi Tribe was the first major power to go ages ago :(

The first weeks of Ventrue vampires, now that was guild spirit. Few members, great leadership (Goth and Ikari, no other freaks), and lots of mortals to bite.

No they didnt...TCN and SM were 2 of the best guilds....I think guilds began their downward spiral when Graal went p2p

Possibly... but I think a bigger thing was when the guild CP was broken for over a year... then worked again, then broke again for almost another year

but the CP breaking happened about the same time as p2p, so it's hard to tell...

maybe both of them worked together...

I think guilds could come back again, if people were not as rude as they are now, and the graal population wasn't so divided, and conflict-based.

I was in TCN for a long time, then I got kicked out because some guy in NBK thought it would be funny to steal my name and label me as a double-guilder. I was in Baddies for about a month though, a long time ago. Was also a 2nd Generation Prince in Ventrue... Whatever happened to TCN? That guild kept me going on Graal until I got addicted.
