Server idea
 

Once upon a time Ryanbomber/Brock128 said "hey let's make a server."

And so it happened.

Well, not yet technically.

Basically, the idea I have is a server dedicated to events and minigames. You think it'll work?

Also, I kinda sorta stink at graphics, scripting, levels, and ganis. Which means I stink at everything. I think I could pop out a few levels, but other then that, i'll need help. Anybody interested?

Hmm, I really don't see the point in having managers with no appreciable skill whatsoever pursuing development of a Playerworld (not trying to bash you in particular) but then again, Graal is an amateur developer's playground :( , ohwell

Actually, I was somewhat hoping this would actually give me any developmental skills.

I donno.

How about, a futuristic/scifi server.
With a level up system and item etc equipment.
You can use a spaceship to go from place to place/goto other planets. Destroy aliens for experience to level up.
Buy new guns / gun pieces. Armor,stats.

Futura was like that, to bad that manager quit, sephy.. :(

why not team up with a public server, to help improve their events system?

Did I mention I can't script for beans? The most I could do is give them an idea. They'd have to run with it.

But from what I've seen, most servers out nowadays aren't very run-with-idea-like.

well I have to agree with you there, the first summer I had with Graal I spent most of my time making a so called server. That boosted my skills tremendously, since I did all the work. I mean, it's by no means finished or even worthy of putting online(by my standards, although some of it is plenty better quality than some of the stuff I see online now), but it certainly helped me develop some level, gfx, and of course scripting skills.

I dunno, do whatever you want, just don't get in over your head.

I've made tons of servers, had many jobs.. It does help.. :)

I'm gonna do it, then.
