Bring Karsh Back to Graal!

Karsh was talking to me today on AIM, and he indicated that he would like to come back to Graal, but that he lacks the funding. There were a lot of people who offered to chip in to bring him back, but he also lacks the paypal account (he doesn't have his parents' paypal password) to receive these donations. Considering all of this, I offered my paypal account up for donations to upgrade him.

He approves of the idea, and you may contact him via AIM (Karsh on Toast) if you have any questions/concerns/comments/complaints.

Anyway, the paypal account you would send the money to would be: [email protected]

Only need $20 to bring him back with a VIP! I'll update every so often with the amount we've collected so far, and how much remains. I'll donate the finishing amount from my own funds after a certain amount of time's passed and we've collected some donations.

Please help bring Karsh back!

This is Karsh: :(
This is Karsh after he receives your donations and comes back to graal: :)

If I had the money to donate I probably would, but im just wondering why people don't save their money. Or even get a job.

Exactly.
I hate people who ask for damn donations. For everything.
Tyrial wants to goto *****/-- get a video card / account / etc all this stuff is so funny and pathetic.

I would donate if I used paypal.

Lance 04-01-2004 06:12 AM

Hey, I'm just trying to bring back a friend, and I'm chipping in >=$5 of my own money to help.

He's young :(

Karsh is like 13, dude. His only option is saving money, and at that age you can't get a debit card or anything to use for internet purchases, much less a PayPal account.

TonyRivers 04-01-2004 08:30 AM

if I had my parents paypal account pass word I would upgrade his whole accoutn and buy hima few years of gold as well. But I don't :( any way <3 karsh and good luck.

Splke 04-01-2004 10:54 AM

even though i really don't know/like karsh... i'll get my paypal account password tommorrow and send it over... just for you guys.. yal can be happy

For paypal you can use debt cards. Heck, I got one when I was 5. That still shouldn't stop him from finding money. I'm 15, I have a part time job (april - october) working at a sail-centre, that pays really good money depending on how many clients I get every 2-3 weeks.

That is a little off the point but little karshy can still ask his perents for money; get a part-time job; save his allowence; sell body parts.

He can also take the effort to sign-up a paypal account. It takes all of one minute.

Signup a paypal account ?

You have have to be 16 to legally have a job in the United States, chief. In most states, anyways. In some it's 18 but in most it's 16 with a work permit.

Even if this were legal (which it isn't), I doubt Karsh would sell a body part for Graal.

Some people enjoy following rules. Like, you know, not having a PayPal account before you're 18 like their rules say.

zell12 04-01-2004 11:28 PM

Well than Karsh should move to canada because around 14 you can apply for a social insurance number which allows you to work legally.
As for other part time jobs/services which you get paid for:

Mowing lawns
Shoveling driveways
Delivering newspapers
Militia
Cadets
etc

I have quite a bit of cash sitting on my desk. Even after what i had planned to buy with it, over half will remain. When i can be bothered to get up and deposit it, I will probably transfer it to paypal or something. Although by graal rules it would be very bad if i bought an account for someone, I will ask Karsh to setup his own paypal temporarily, to which i can transfer some goddamn money to, and which he can upgrade his account with. Which isnt against graal rules. Once Karsh has finnished with this paypal, he can close it.

End Result = Karsh back.

You missed where he can't legally have his own Paypal, thus I am acting as his receiving/upgrading agent.

Brad 04-02-2004 10:45 PM

in PA you need to be 14 I believe to get a JOB. You can only work like 4-6 hours a day I think too. At 16 is when you can start working 8 hour days. You're not right for once Kamuii!

zell12 04-02-2004 11:22 PM

Brad - 1
Kamuii - 999

Is it not illegal to upgrade an account for someone? (Would it not be classed as account sharing?)

Okay?

I don't know absolutely every single last little speck of information there is to know about the world, Brad. Nor do I profess to. I'm bound to not know something, somewhere, about some subject.

You sort of attacked Argo for telling him to get a job by saying he can't. I am just sticking up for Argo. As you always tell to other people "Don't talk if you don't know :)".

James2k2 04-03-2004 12:54 AM

My friend had a job at McDonald's at the age of 15 but they had to limit the number of hours he worked there.

Except I was right in telling Argo that he couldn't get a job, so the only thing I was wrong on was the age law. :) Which is more or less irrelevant since it doesn't apply to Karsh at 13.

Mustang1988 04-03-2004 02:52 AM

That age law varies alot, theres 14 in PA and 16 in CA.. 18 i think in Maine... It's odd, so I don't expect anybody WOULD know..

p.s brad won!! O_O

There was nothing to win. Kamuii doesn't know everything, like he said, he knows some things about alot of things.

No it is not illegal but Unixmad warns against it because some people can get ripped off that way. He posted about this on these Forums. I personally have upgraded a few accounts , Unixmad knows about this but what I do is REQUIRE after the upgrade is done to CHANGE your password so I don't have it. If you have someone upgrade your account make sure you always change the password imediately after comfimation of the upgrade. I just don't make it a habit of ugrading anyones account but my own and my Family. If you do make sure you know and trust this person , never do this with someone you barely know. Always change the password afterward , never think it will be ok this time if I don't change the password , because 99% of the time it won't.
