Hrmm I've just been on my account (VIP) So I can't play weekdays ;(
But I was just being nosey and I noticed about 10% of the people in the room was trainer using:o!!
I was in the bomboria trading tables..
I got one of the people hacking, Mike, account is something similar to
mikethedarkpaladin
It might be that but I can't be sure..
Can't you set the speed down or something.. Or even get GP's online :\

Trainer use has gotten quite bad again :(

I remember catching 100+ and giving them to spark and Lyndzey, all on Unholy nation aswell :\

Yep, but they still win nonetheless, and there is nothing anyone/any staff do about it.

Can't stefan just lay the cheese down with some script that says like "if you're going over 4 speed, you're banned, you sod!"?

Excelle...i mean, well, i personally travel at an average of 3.1 and i find that quite sufficient enough to travel from bomboria to zehn village in around a minute or under. I'm not sure what speed the guys with like dual rots or rows or whatever are travelling at, but i would be more than willing to bet that it's too much.

People are complaining about these speedhackers....so they must be complaining about the speed they're travelling at too otherwise noone would really give a crappo. Why aren't they complaining about the speed that some people are travelling at even without the use of trainers? I know graal is a fantasy world and so certain boundaries can be stretched, but moving at the kind of speed some people do, whilst carrying around several shields, swords, axes, helmets, etc etc etc is just a bit silly to be honest...

Regular speed doesnt affect weapon speed. These hackers weapon's swing 3 times the normal rate, tahts why

Sadly, there isnt alot that can be done against the trainer because the trainer speeds it up clientside, not serverside.

Um, I have 6+ speed. Why should I be penalized for others hacking? It's like removing all guns from the U.S because someone shoots and kills someone which is retarded cause then people can't hunt or anything.

It's not a trainer but it's some program used on CS that can be used on GK too to speed up the program (or so I heard cause it was posted in another thread).

Oh that thing is old. Its some half life cheat I believe. It does something to your system to make it think time is going by faster.

Wouldnt a small version update for the game circumvent this issue? Add some sort of check to be sure the system is in-sync with the server or whatever.

I agree a sort of speed check can be done somehow, Otherwise i can't be killed by your magic or weapons....I just wouldn't sit still long enough for you. :p

I think 3.8 is too slow, but since I've been up to 5.4, I can't stand slow. Once you get some speed items, you'll never stand for any speed less than 3 again. :D

The CS hack speeds up the whole client on your behalf, it's really queer. You can tell they are hacking because it's like a lagg stop and then they are not, it's funny. But I don't like them using it :o!

I think 3 is a lovely speed...i've never been up to four, and it is probably quite nice, but 3 is still a very nice speed. I agree that once one obtains a higher speed he doesn't like going back down; being at 2 speed is a drag for me, but like i say, three is a perfectly reasonable speed for most players to be travelling at. 4 is probably the extreme, and >4 is probably silly =x

My average is somewhere arround 3, a bit faster with a mag in my hand. I don't mind getting slowed down though when I'm mining or crafting.
Maybe there could be a check to compare the theoretical speed from stats and weight with the movement of the player?

My buffed speed is 3.333... Or 3.1 with my RoHM (or is it 2.9? :\). 3.466 with mag...

Let me explain this for yall...

Its a trainer for CS, popular because all it does is overclock (seriously lag) your client but at the same time doesnt lag your connection... this somehow causes a serious speed boost, which doesnt effect your speed in your Q menu... It brings your speed probably too 15.0 (on OK computers) but some people manage 90+ speed (warping around). It doesnt effect your weapon speed, seeings as too how that isnt enabled yet. It does however speed up your swing by anywhere from 3-10 times faster (once again based on a slow - fast connection).

This is clientside, so there should be a way to have a script the reads the programs values/adress' and stops it...

6+ speed (which I always have) is awesome. Especially if I use v3+. I can't wait for v3.1 to come out so that I can use it all the time (I don't use v3.04 cause the playerlist is so unorganized, can't mass, cant close minimap, etc). The lag is what causes me to go at about a 5 speed instead of 6+ :[

Err, what do you use to get 6+? When I had 5.4, I had 30 dex, dragon ammy, and double thieves. What equiment do you have that makes you go so fast? :|

I also have 30 strength which lets me hold more letting me go faster.

I hardly carry anything, but that's besides the point. I want to know what you use to get that 6+ speed.

Meh, DX doesnt have to tell you what he uses, 30 Dex and 30 STR = 5.8 ++ speed. Considering he has speed+ on his items, 6.0 is easy. I get 6.233 when Im using all my friends stuff (30 30 30 as first 3 stats) and alot of speed + on the items.

Strength also affects how much the weight you carry weights you down, i.e. more strength, more speed...

Of course, i wouldn't want to go back down to 3 that much due to the usefulness of speed, obviously, but if i was forced to go down to 3-4 again, i wouldn't complain a bit =x

We will soon detect this hack and trust me that people that use it will have a hard time.

Will make you loose a lot of experience if you are using it... Will make this less fun.

How exactly could you detect a client-side program that doesnt even run directly, or even mean to effect Graal...

Wont people simply get banned if their caught using it?
