Started on this pirate hat... Whaddaya say?

That's not very good, but don't give up - it takes time.

You should consider shading, like the wizard hat. Alsoyou should consider how you will show perspective in the picture

Hard to shade without that big flap thing :\

The coloring needs to be changed a bit.. the perspective is thrown off by the black on black.

I think all it needed was a contrast increasment.

Yeah, but honestly I like Bloo and Donalds pirate hats, But then they most likely gave the original poster a feeling of disappoinment by doing what they did x.x
