Hello there, just letting all you graalians know that thursday (or friday) new new val will be released, you can go to the official valikorlia website for screenshots, information, and also the forums about valikorlia, and new val.
new val will include a whole new system, with new bodies (most likely to come later, template done however), a new tileset and worldmap, and all kinds of new things.

It's going to be really fun, and a great RP experience.

However, just a warning.
If you dislike RP, you most likely will not enjoy Valikorlia, and they don't take in people who don't RP too well.
If you get on, i will be on as Lady Emily Tannare, High Sorceress of (Lerhyn), if you want to talk or anything.

There have been numerous(sp?) complaints against Val for its staff corruption regarding "People not RPing the way Val says so."
People have been banned for having a name like "Kirby" or even just like me, "Scott." Has to be RPish, like "Royal Duke Van' Chucksin of the Yorkish Monastary" or something. But yes, I am surprised you have not seen all the threads. If you go back a month or two, you see ALOT of threads about it.

If you don't know how to RP well, you can ask FAQs /
RP Admins. People getting banned for bad names / not
RPing the "valikorlian way," as Scott put it was a thing of the
past, as Valikorlia is now under new management, that will no longer be happening.

Playerworld Administration was not informed and we request that any changes in management be reported.

By management i did not mean the actual managers, but the
managing of other staffs. Sorry about the confusion.

The Co-Manager showed this to me earlier; these inside levels aren't ubiquitous throughout the world, however [see url.]

Eventually, they will be. However, for the release they are using old levels for functionality & nostalgia reasons.

That looks quit similar to the original tileset. I don't see any difference from either versions of Valikorlia. What are the changes (if there are any)?

Ok, a new "worldmap" will be released but not the actual towns. All none-worldmap levels will probably be the old ones until we get started with the towns/bridges/insert other stuffs here.

And about "not being able to rp right = ban" is wrong. However, say two people are rping and you run into them with a name like SSJ@459348590 Goku of the Kirby chuck Clan and do stupid things, that's either a jailing or ban. Nothing wrong with being strict with some rules.

Actually Valikorlia is not so bad. I loged on Valikorlia yesterday around 11pm, there were a few people maybe 20 online. There was a group of people in this town area. I went over to where they were and pking is disabled/sword doesnt do damage. I personally dont think that its so corrupted now, It might be but I dont know. The group of people were nice they wernt like very rp strict, a few of them were staff if I recall correctly.

As for people swearing at for you asking questions... I asked them what a bong was and they were nice and told me what it is (I already knew what a bong was) so umm yeah...

I learned what a bong was about 6 hours earlyer in the battle for ohama beach ;)

I suppose it looks alright...the inside level that is. I'm otherwise not that impressed :/

An ambitous goal I have, but I like the way I have it set up and to me it looks quite functional. Doragon will be an RP server, but most of the 'events' and what not will be handled by the players. There will be some things for those that don't want to necessarily participate in the role-playing.

Yet people fail to read a sign at the very first level that says "NOTE:"

It says that the only reason why the levels look so bad is because it was released early. Everyone wanted the World Map (step out of town and you'll see it, can't miss it) out and we gave the players what they wanted. Now you'll just have to bear with us whille we get more NPCS/Stuff done THEN worry about levels. You don't need uber 1337 levels to rp well in anyway >_>;

Since when has it been a good idea to give into what the players want? Its your project not thiers :p Its that whole instant gratification thing which can be likened to many other things :]

We didn't give them EVERYTHING they wanted, just a worldmap for thanksgiving. :)

Still, if it wasn't really all that ready you should've picked something else. But that's just my input :p

Heh, atleast they're happy now. Our old overworld suxed a lot. Now we have a good looking worldmap, all we need to do level wise is to make the current ones look better. People are rping now more than before. Reminds them of the good old days. >_>; So as long as they're happy I dont mind.
