Races
Graal: The Adventure
When they get the NPCServer, it would be nice if they gave it another try at races, but balance it more so each race get's advanatges and disadvantages. Graal2001 Graal2001 already has Humans and Bomys, but what about those plant things Tyhm was working on? It would be cool if they got finished, as long as they had disadvantages so not everyone would be one. Graal Kingdoms Graal Kingdoms already have plenty of orc and elf and things like that heads, why not sort them out into races? So when you start out you choose your race, and perhaps even a little thing where you choose your look, like your face and hair.. you can still change your hair in-game but not your face, that would be cool. |

2001: Bomy/Human = Enough I think. And those tree things would be for adventures I would guess, and they were monsters in my opinion rarther than a race. kingdoms: already has some |
Adventure: Either way I don't mind.
2k1: I like it the way it is. Kingdoms: Possibly exchange classes such as "Barbarian" with Orc to get that CF feel away. Then again though...I'd hate to see "Orc" in people's profile while they're actually rping an Elf in Forest or so >_> Bleh..it's fine the way it is |
Races on graal2001 don't work because lack of staff following through, its been tried with the Sælei and they looked good with Tyhm and Kawaii flying around with them, but they were never finished.

I don't think we're going to do races again, simply because so many people disliked them. However, nations may still be done, I'm not sure yet. Some polls to get opinions might be helpful. :)

More races will actually have a negative affect on 2k1:
1)More races = more content required for each (unique jobs and such) 2)Possibly unbalance both economically and fighting wise 3)Alot of bug fixing to occupy staff from completing many other things. 4)Crappier for RP as it would only work efficiently if their are seperate kingdoms with storyline backgrounds and such similar to how bomys were with "Bomy Gang." Also refer to 5. 5)Playerbase isn't large enough. |

I liked the vampires. They forced intelligence in combat. They own at swordplay, but get owned if they're anywhere near a torch or bomb. Or are outside during the day. But yeah, Com rebalanced them.

Me, I prefer that each race be adapted to each quest. ie, the Vampires can quest, but they've gotta be hardcore to survive it, especially with the amount of explosions. Lunari can too, but they've gotta be methodical as they move slowly unless they have a wall to roll along; fortunately, as they repop wherever they died, they're the ultimate quest winnars. The Zorbi are the ultimate RP race, as they can just chat all day and if someone bugs them, bubble them away; questing is a little difficult as actually killing ones foes becomes tricky, but since they can be bubbled away, it is not ultimately that big of a deal. Boss battles will require teamwork, but it can be done. Baddies were gonna be the tricky ones, all offence with no defense, but they'd basically take on quests just like Vampires; very, very carefully.

Still, i see ALOT of talk, and no doing. Bring back the races on classic, i loved them. if you need scripting help to make them tehpwn with the npc server, force the gst.
