Um... It's not the fault of the players. If it's scripted so that you can name the horses extremely long names, and have as many as you want, then this will happen. It's the staff's job to fix this, it has nothing to do with immature players. While it's not all that smart to do what they did, it's not illegal.

set options limit length of nicknames.

Yeah but it should be scripted into the horses, along with only a-z and 0-9

I don't think that will work considering the names are on NPCs and not players.

It was limited to thirty characters yesterday afternoon; I spoke with Stefan when he came on. He also fixed the bug with quest-chars not deleting themselves properly from the task list, as well as added some new color horses which can sometimes appear while breeding.

Hm... maybe there could be an option added not to show pet's names... also, on a slightly similar subject, I think the names on charmed pets are kinda weird, as wesk ones are names and the stronger ones aren't, shouldn't it be the other way arround? Who cares if you have a ravaging bomy with you, but a rex can be a different subject... Plus, those names can lag, too, once your flock hits the 25...

It wasn't meant to be funny. I really think it should be 3.. or 5.. Or just take out naming compeltely.. I don't like it :( so stop being so mean to me :(:(:(

Because a name limit of 3-5 is too small. There cannot be hundreds of original names, with a five letter limit. Taking out the names altogether isn't an option either. How would you figure out which horse, or other pet, is yours? By running around everywhere playing the follow song?

I don't know if solutions that work for yourself work for the general public.

1- you are dumb i did do this it god rid of names, i originated the mass horse army with huge square names stunt
so with that i say, too many posers and copy cats. I'm bragging in no way at all but TOO many people copy me and i'm still a newbie to kingdoms it's pathetic! if i make up a new original look like ogre/orc, so then i switch to my current shamantic/drow look and none has copied me yet, but too many followers, not enough leaders >_>
