Donating on Kingdoms
 

Some people on kingdoms think that people would donate them diamonds to prepare their weapons, and I personally think thatr this is sad.
1st) Noone is that dumb.
2nd) You cant be proud on yourself that you made it and got 100 diamonds for a prepare.

Btw stefan should increase Monster dropping again to stop inflation.
Who would pay 500 plat for 1 diamond if they would be easy to get?

I got 135 diamonds for just player-killing people that drop diamonds in less than 1 hour

No, that's the way he decided to go about it. Whether or not it's "dirty" is irrelevant, as that is your own opinion.
And why do you find it sad that someone would ask for a donation of diamonds? Believe it or not, there are nice people on Kingdoms. Do you feel the need to put a dollar value (figure of speech, not meant to be taken literally) on everything on the server?

The thing that bothers me is that the people asking for donations are already really powerful and rich.

That's very true. Someone was just asking for a ton of diamonds and then IWDs the other day for his inferno! I mean jesus, if you're that rich you should be able to get the diamonds yourself with no problem.

Then it would be to easy to buff up your weapon. Who cares about the inflamation. Things are actualy going down in price such as IWD's,EA'sand EW's.

I've never asked for a donation. People think I am powerful, I may be but it doesn't come with being wealthy. I didn't abuse the +3 or sapphire selling thing so I'm not as rich as people think. Some people may think I have 500k+, I don't, but I heard some people made over 200k and stashed it at their house.

I earned ALL my items just like dragonx i never had anyone help me, and all i have is 20k. (BTW im selling GOlden Bracers +5 im trading them for event weapon like Inferno or Diamond force)

Hmph. Earning all your items, Yeah, maybe, but it doesn't mean you never asked. (Often.)

I never asked for donations either, although someone once sponsored me 50 plats for woodlore, without being asked, although he was thanked (or so I hope). Anyway, diamonds aren't that rare - the three of us collected up to 250 diamonds in a few months, without concentrating on searching them, so it isn't impossible. Quite a few people have asked me for money when they saw that I was buying alehcmy items - i.e. salt, phorphor, sulphur etc in some quantities, probably thinking that if I could waste my money on that I could as well waste it on them. I'm doing it to make more money, yes, but that doesn't mean I can afford to sponsor everyone. I have no problem with lending money to people I know, but just giving it away makes it too easy for them (seeing how people mass "buying saddle for 50 plat" - very hard to get, 4 skins and a coal) and doesn't help me, as those (in my opinion and experience) would hardly return the favor.

I, like few, didn't abuse any +3 or sapphire bugs either. I didn't think it'd hurt that much but it did. I'll admit I've asked for help on a few things, namely RoS and IWDs, but I've also helped others out.

Heck, I've given out IWDs just because people asked for it...nicely anyways.

I don't see inflation as a problum at all, ("Supply and Demand") Supply of diamonds are somewhat rare, and demand is very high, so the price goes up to encourage people into selling them. You can complain about this, or profit off of it! (like me!)

Ever sence I returned to Kingdoms I've been getting money faster then I could spend it, it's because of diamonds! I'd go to the mines, dig up a heckload of iron, take it home, put the diamonds in with my money, repeat until I have plenty of iron, then take the diamonds and head to town. +6k, then I'd find Enchant Armor in store, *Charisma* I'd buy it, then go sell it for a profit, +1k! All the while buying every interesting magic spell I found, which is starting to get rare. I got a darn good spellbook at my fingertips now, and I FINALY ran out of money! (I still only have heal minor wounds though x.x blah) Still gotta sell this scroll of missile weapons though.

Moral of the Story: When life gives you Lemons, make LOTS OF MONEY!

Even if you don't abuse bugs, that money is somehow going to get to you and you have to live with the fact you're using bugged money.

Can someone explain to me what this +3 sapphire bug was? I have been off and on playing Graal Kingdoms and I don't know how this one happened.

I meant +3 as in blessing swords to +3 and selling for a ton in shops. If you have sapphires and you know a certain recipe (I don't know it) you can get 600 plat every 3 sapphire.

Does that still happen? Is it considered a bug?

People still bless +3 (though it takes longer) and sell the stuff they bless. It's not really a bug but it is an abuse of praying. Same thing with the alchemy.

Stefan said it was a bug because the rabbit tooth necklace wasn't suppose to give luck+15, but I guess he forgot to edit it or something before releasing it.
And sapphire recipe still exists apparently =/

Thats what ****s are for! You tell them to go mine for 1hr and ull give them 300 plat or less depending on how greedy u r. then u tell them to give u all the diamonds they found and they can keep the rest!:p

Don't think I understand completely, but I have no problum living with the fact I earned this money fair and square if that's what you meen. :grin:
