On Era i joined a chatroom which a Era guild was in & a staff was in. The staff banned me then made up a bunch of fake reasons for a ban reason...Get Chrisz & tell him about this corruptness.

I don't think GO has jurisdiction over AIM Chat rooms. Also, if you were banned, I'd think it'd be for legitimate reasons.

This is concerning an AIM chatroom. This is outside of Graal and really has no business being discussed here. But, since its been brought up, lets have fun, yes?

You're not understanding it correctly. He got banned FROM Era, for bein' in the AIM chatroom 'PPA'. And I don't think there is a 'ban' in an AIM chatroom.

You can get kicked/banned from AIM Chats, I believe :p If he got banned on the actual server, then that's even funnier. :D

Knowing some of the PPA members (yea, I know, I'm kinda one of the creators), this guy went into the chatroom where they were discussing secret plans for PPA. Then the staff was like "get out or I ban you", this guy says "no", and then he is banned.

Why does this never happen to me and to other people? :rolleyes:

Possible reasons:
You cannot work a chat client.
You do not own a chat client.
You don't know what Era is.
You wear invisible pants.
You post pictures of your fake sister from snygast.com

The staff did not have the right to ban this person for something he did outside of graal. -_-

Exactly btw i wasn't asked 2 leave the FAQ Admin said im gonna ban you for joining & their i was banned with fake reasons for ban cause he kno's its illegal for banning from outside of graal.

I don't think you can kick someone from an aim chat. I've never seen that feature in it before.

No.. he was in a chat room while we were discussing plans for the server. We told him to leave and he didn't and he found out what happened. He just about ruined the entire event =/ that has been in planning for a longggggg time.

For aim chats someone has to invite him into the chat room for him to get in. So it's you guys fault in the first place that he got in. Someone in PPA isn't so loyal I guess.

Not true, if you find out the chat room name, you can create a chat, put that name in, and like magic, you're there.

I'll talk to chrisz later about it. Yes its annoying that someone could have runied your plans. But if AIM chats acant be used on graal as evidence then really AIM related things cant be a ban reason. Yes it COULD be, if lets say someone is harrasing you, swearing, horrible things, multiple warns and wont leave you alone on graal either. But for eneter a chat room, this is a bit OTT.

Okay I didn't see that, so I guess he got in that way, but one question. How did he know the name of your chat room?

We couldn't exaclty do it on the server.. It crashed, thats why we were on AIM chat talking. That guy kuji is annoying anyways. He was just looking to start trouble.

Nonetheless, you can't ban someone from graal just because they entered an AIM chat room and/or would not leave it.

Just becouse you goys find some one annoying is no reason to mess around with his account not mind when he was on Aim and not graal.
If you had plans that really need to be discussed privately you could use a lot safer methods besides AIM (Aim and icq don’t have a very good reputation for security anyway).
You should lose you staff positions for abusing your power. It’s not a very good reputation to give era, know for its power crazy corrupt staff, so don’t give it that bad reputation then.

I know it wasn't right. Hell I didn't say ban the guy. They were just trying to keep the RP event a secret but he decides to try and ruin it all?

And kuji we had to change to PPA tags because our guns don't work with EVIL tags. Of course you wouldn't know that because you're too busy trying to ruin RP events staff/ppa have been planning for weeks. :rolleyes:

edit: Anyways I heard he was only going to be temp banned until the event was over.

If he just happend to type in the right words to join the chat (like the room was called "PPA"). Then myabe you should try a harder to figure out room name or something, keep it to single AIMs, or wait for the server to go back.

Anything off Graal CANNOT be used against you on Graal regardless of what it is Spark. :\ Harressment on Aim has nothing to do with Graal, you can always block them so that doesn't hold water.
