Amulet of Speed!
 
New amulet idea i gave Stefan, he liked it.. but what do you think?

Name: Amulet Of Speed
Properties: Speed +2, Armour +15, Reflect Missiles.
Information: You craft it, what's needed: 1 diamond, 5 gold nuggets, 20 pearls.

EDIT: I also noiticed that it's to good to be crafted.. maybe sell for 1.5k or something?

I think it is too good for those materials, should be a rare amulet sold in stores for about 1k

You'd need more than just those measly ingredients, but yes, it is a good idea otherwise. Just add a lot, lot, lot more items needed to craft it.

Diamond of Great Value instead of a normal one and Jeweler skill... and a failure rate... and take off the Reflect missiles... just a sudgestion...

Failure rate when you craft it... like a chance that you will screw up making it...

the amulet would be worth 5 mabey 6k easy. First off...
'of speed' makes it worth alot more then it should be and second, the armour+ and the speed+2 would make it really expensive.
, and to top it off, you added reflect missles. Bad idea.

New info:
+2 speed, +15 armour, +100% resist slow.
Need to make: Diamond of greate value, 5 big gold nuggets, 20 pearls. + failure rate and jewelery skill

Alchemize not craft, that would add a failure rate.

you dont make amulets with a big pot of goo... you make jewelery with little tools and molds...

No, you add special effects to the items using alchemy. You got these things we have no randomly. For the new alchemy you need like, a normal armour, glove, gauntlet, or helmet plus other ingredients.

Not talismans... unenchanted plain amulets... talismans unequip themselves when you unready wizardry...

No, you use a talisman, but it makes an amulet, like a decorated talisman.

Talisman- Focus item to use wizardry for those who are not skilled in wizardry... hung around the wrist and held in the hand
Amulet- Item worn around the neck bestowing benefits to the wearer as long as he/she wears it... usually made of valuable metals and jewels(because somehow the more valuable jewels have better effects... don't ask why it's an RPG game thing...)

Ah, a braclet. Makes sense. I always figured, based on the graphic, that it was a necklace. That'd be cool though, if it was designed with a gem in the palm of your hand to give you Mage Hands...^_^
One chain goes over a finger or two, one over your wrist...

Amulets get their power from magic, which could be what's in a talisman, it's like this:
A talisman by itself can make you focus magic in it.
An amulet is a talisman changed to have a permanent effect when equipped, because it has all this other stuff on it, you can't focus magic.

.. just make a basic unenchanted amulet ..

The thread was dead a long time ago, but whatever...
Anyway, if they do that, they should also make plain platemail, helmets, gloves, etc. As a matter of fact, I was planning on talking to Stefan about something related to this, etc, etc, also, no one ever said this was going to be made, so it really doesn't matter about the amulet until this is certain.

Well .. I think (this is my guess, and it makes sense) that instead of "plate mail" and "sword" it will be things like "bronze plate mail" and "steel sword" .. things that are attainable, but basic.. you know, in recipes that is ..
