Is it just me, or are there a LOT of people who had the funnest time while playing Bomy Moon (2k1)? I know a lot of people who say they'd play again, if more other people did.

So, why don't we all put in ideas for how it can be improved then go play :D

I think a good idea is to go back to old bodies, HP doesn't bother me that much, but old bodies would be a lot better. Saying that though, I doubt it will happen.

i stand by the fact that why shud i? i can pay to play gk. Why shud i play a lesser server. Maybe if i knew the staff and stuff, kinda like i am addicted to delteira, but other than that there wud be no reason for me to play there. x.x

I totally agree, Androk and I came up with an idea to revive roleplaying and get somewhat of playerbase back. But Jeff hasn't approved it and now Androk quit.

So honestly, I don't know what to do.

The people who say that they would hvae more fun playing 2k1 should play 2k1, because 2k1 is only fun with a lot of people.

RPing wud be a good idea. that would get a playerbase that may want to do this and is not on GK, jeff needs to listen

lol, i worked there for like 2 hours then quit for delteria. they all seemed cool to me. but he does need to consider this RP thing.

If they could ever learn how to manage an economy then it would be fine. The next step would be to use the old bodies, and make new things. MAKE NEW THINGS. Pretty much everyone has played Bomy Moon and done EVERYTHING there is to do on it. You need to add new stuff, you can't just reset and expect people to run back because the economy is fixed for 2 days.

I was planning on making tomato farming and pizza baking but errm...I'm REALLY busy with school....GCSE/O level exams x.x

Anything that'll make me say "I hate this game, but I love it" will be fine. In other words, anything that will cause the game to be addicting, and so good, it becomes frusterating. For example, being frusterated when a rare hat that's not sold very often is at the market, and you don't have enough to afford it because you just spent your money. The fact that you want the hat so badly makes the game good, but the fact that you can't buy it makes it frusterating.

Anyhow, I wasn't bored with the game before it changed (i wasn't around for the change anyways...i left before it,and came back after it, and was disgusted) Everything was just fine in my opinion. I prefered the heart system and old bodies, and starting off with a sword.

If people were getting bored, more quest could have been added. I was hoping G2k1 would continue in that state for a long time, since there were still many things in the game that weren't added (higher powered swords...more hearts...). The cool thing about the quests also was that they could be played many times just for fun. I remember going to the Bomy Moon quest several times with friends just for fun. Also, the level 2 shield should have been introduced before the lizard shield, just to extend the possibilites of game-play. It's kind of like skipping all the mini-quests in a good RPG, you still get the best part of the story, but you may miss some in-depth details or just fun quests :D

We were going to make sword and kungfu a choice, rather than a "First you get this, then you get the other and its better".

The economy is hard to regulate, but I've heard bomy auctions are going on almost constantly...That makes them no longer rare, and no longer worth a decent amount of money. It also means that the people who just came for the initial thrill of "omg reset" will leave again, letting the bomys die on their accounts, and not being traded later...and believe me, that's hard as hell to track and solve. In other words, what I'm hearing is it isn't being regulated well. It will undoubtedly need another reset when the new things are actually _ready_ for release, not an out of the blue thing.

I always said, you can't reset until you have the new stuff. But hey, nobody listens to me until it's too late. ;X

I had the funnest time playing Main Server (classic) when it was the oly server and we pk and protest all day and fun guild wars

Don't you think it would make a big difference if you didn't allow transformations to bomy from human and back? I havn't checked on the game much since pearls were changed to different colors, and bomy transforming had a price put on it (that's what i heard at least...?), but it still sounds like all someone has to do is turn bomy....dive for hours now (untill they make enough to not just gain back the money they lose from transforming, but to make a profit also) and they can still make a lot of money...doesn't that still make it the best job? There shouldn't be a best job,class,race,weapon in any RPG. I liked in the old days when people debated on whether farming or mining (and later snow-cone making which took time,but made more profit of your apples) was best, not when someone would walk up to you for being the only guy farming and say "lel u r so teh stoopid...go prl dvng, ****".
