Blessing Weapons?
 

Exactly WHAT do you do to bless weapons? I marked my diamond blade and was sitting there for a while clicking praying over and over and I saw no signs or anything that something was happening :|. Gimme every detail whau to do...

Make sure your weapon is identified (use a scroll of identify, the spell "identify", or the smithery skill), then sit at the altar, equip the weapon, and pray. You do not need to mark the weapon, that's a misconception. If you go to the gods forum, you'll see next to enchant weapon a rating from "Low" to "High". Low means that the enchantment takes less time to be done. High, obviously, means more time is needed. Level does affect it, though. Ogma has a rating of "High", and he enchanted a weapon for me in about 15 minutes with a wisdom level of seven. For someone with a wisdom level of one, it may have taken an hour.

Magic shops, like in Tanarthia, Bogenera, or Hirathia.

Best to look in Tanarthia and Bogenera, though, as Hirathia rarely has scrolls.

How do you know your weapon is blessed?

You will see the words "Your weapon quivers as if struck!" on your screen .. and if you're praying to a god that enchants in two phases, I believe the second says "Your weapon glows with power!" .. example of this would be Ogma, he first enchants a weapon to slay fairies and dwarves (I believe that's correct), then he enchants it to poison enemies.

Also, your weapon's name will change .. from, maybe,

Diamond blade .. to..

Diamond blade of Ogma

Just move around the altar every so often to keep yourself from getting disconnected .. what weapon are you trying to enchant, and by what god? This seems to be taking you an awfully long time..

Does this mean that to get a weapon poisoned by Ogma you need to continue praying after the first upgrade where it says it slays faeries/dwarfs?

Ive been wanting to bless weaponsn and been asking but im s till quite unsure about it

I starting raisiing my wisdom and was wondering what lvl of wisdom should di have before i try blessing a weapon also how can you tell what you can bless to +1 +2 does lvl of exp or wisdom determin this and what lvls are there for each god thanks in advance for anyone thata answers :)

Govannon and Ogma get a blessing level every 4 wisdom-levels (4 means +1, 8 is +2 and so on); Aengus, Bile, Leucetious and Balor get a blessing level every 6 levels, making it 6 for +1, 12 for +2 etc. DianCecht (is there anyone out there who follows him?) is the hardest, a + for every 8 levels.

No one is going to lower prices. Diamonds need to be lowered also though.

I see this all the time, and I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Right-click on a diamond sometime, see how much it sells for. Did you know you can buy them in shops for like 5-10 plat?

The price of diamonds CAN'T be lowered by Stefan or anyone else, because the 200-300 plat that players will pay for them is not set anywhere in the code. People pay that much for diamonds because they are so rare and so useful.

It's true that diamonds could be made more common, and then the price would drop somewhat, but this wouldn't help balance the game any. The economy might stabilize, but then things like weapon upgrades would be so easy to do that GK would just be unbalanced in other ways. I say, just leave diamonds and other parts of the economy alone. I don't really see that there's a problem. You work hard, you earn lots of money. Sound realistic enough to me. :)

The shop price for diamonds should be raised towards their de facto value. Then you drop them less, you can sell them to the NPCs for more if you really want to, they cost more to buy in the store...
