OK, listen up everyone. I wasn't nominated for a king, nor did i want to be. I do not play 2k2. This is from my prospect and my thoughts.

OK. Aftershock runs this poll. He adds himself as a choice to Dustari, against two people who he knows won't get as many votes as him because they can't suck up to the others. So he wins.

Zormite. Oh this is fun. Rob Getashu (i might be wrong and if I am, Rob I'm sorry), but wasn't he banned for hacking once? And "Duhhhh" "Hi. I'm Toran. I'm going to replace a guy with none other than...... MYSELF!". If Toran wins that vote, I will be purely upset by the sheer fact that he does not talk at all, and roleplays even less. Where the hell is CheeToS on that poll? Oh wait, HE'S NOT UP TO TORAN'S FISH STANDARDS. Wow.

Forest. Not going to comment on this one really. New kingdom, so it has potential. OK. Brad, acts like an ******* most of the time. REALLY GOOD ROLEPLAYER. Pith: "OMG LAWLOLAWLSLWLSLAOLAS THIZ EES KEWL I R UBER 1337 LIEK WOW ROLEPLAY". Then two "nobodies" compared to koni, brad, and pith.

Samurai. Hiyoshi has been waiting a long time and is winning in the polls. This has a variety of choices. I mean, Hiyoshi is a good friend of mine. But, on 2k1, to other people he was not as popular as the "sinch to win this poll" people. Therefore, I am very happy for him. Whoever chose this nominees did good for this kingdom.


So to the point. Kingdoms are overrun by staff and ex-staff who can just e-mail or IM someone and say "Make me King" and it happens. And everyone else just tags along and votes for them because "OMG IF TORAN LIKES ME I MIGHT BE FAQ HUH HYUCK!".

The kingdoms should have started new. Each one should have a king that had never been a king before, but had proven himself in roleplay. I mean, there ARE great roleplayers out there that just aren't popular enough to get the vote. I have never seen GP roleplay and I am dead set the other guy should win. But, Caius's opinion doesn't matter and for expressing his opinion, this post that took me a while to make is going to get deleted and I'll get in trouble. If you do not support this without due reason then, damn, you have problems. Well, my name is Caius. You know where you can find me. On 2k1. So when u feel like *****ing at me, I'll be there.

Err... currently I was the only one with super moderator access and mod access on THIS forum so I thought I might as well use those powers to run the polls. Unixmad said we should have made them anyways, I might as well have used those mod powers and made all the polls consistent.

This thread right here was created so ANYONE could run for the leader of a kingdom, and it was stickied and placed there for 3 days. People were well aware and many submitted their names.

People began to drop out of the polls by PM'ing me or posting on the forums because they knew very well they were not going to win, or just wanted to support someone else, so everyone was included.

I don't see the logic as to how you think the polls SHOULD have been run, nothing is ever practical, but we have to do the best we can. If you think these polls are run by the staff goons, then you should really ask people whom they voted for and if the kings are a good choice, because I'm quite sure that their opinions will reflect those on the polls.

Yeah, I'm not as big of an ******* anymore though. Slowly I'm becoming a little bit nicer. Also, the polls are over. I lost. On another note, the way you called me a REALLY GOOD RP'ER made me feel nice and made my bad day go lighter. thx <3

CheeToS didn't bother to put his name up to vote, so he wasn't on the poll.

You could have volunteered to have your name on the ballot, if you wanted.

You really need to read a bit before you go running your mouth, man, it really makes you look like an idiot.

....and then we always have the idiots who have to go and make a thread saying someone is corrupt or shouldn't have done it that way.

I get angry at people that think my time on Graal is a big smooth ride because I was staff on 2k1, and whatnot. I have no control over my popularity, or what people's opinions are about me.

I didn't just ask higher staff to make me Forest leader, I only took around 30 minutes total, asking people to vote for me. I didn't bribe anyone with positions on my upcoming server, I didn't even hint that I was going to give people things for voting for me.

I thought I was going to lose at many times during the polling, as I fell behind quite a bit but somehow the last 2 days people just voted a lot for me and I pulled ahead. If people think I am going to give them something or do something for them just because they voted for me, then they shouldn't have voted.

I *do* find it unfair that the less known people were rather outnumbered here, but that isn't MY fault. If they wanted to become well known all they would have to do is get themselves around the community and GET known. Brad never held any high staff positions, yet he was neck and neck with me in the polls the entire time. This is because he is liked and well known by many people.

If you want to hold a kingdom leader position, you should expect to have some sort of popularity or at least be known by many people. Who would want a king/queen that they have never heard of before? It's only logical to vote for someone that they know.

Your pirate crew comment was unneeded, but I'm sure if they hadn't even put a poll up and had just made Ghost Pirate the leader, you would have complained that there was no poll for pirate crew. :rolleyes:

I'm glad a fellow Southerner got Forest Kingdomshipness, since I'm in Forest Kingdom. :) I'm from Georgia, the Empire State of the South.

I for one think the whole poll thing worked like a good old American election: only people who were well-known had a chance to win, duh. Some people who might have won didn't try. They didn't want to, duh. Promises might have been made (I didn't see any) but what election doesn't have payoffs, duh? In short, I agree with Konidias and the rest... I don't see any problem with the way it was done.

Geeze, you are so misinformed its not even funny. Don't talk about stuff you haven't taken the time to research, if you look at almost ANY place in the Kingdom fourm, you see stuff about 'SIGN UP HERE TO RUN FOR KINGDOMS' or why people thought someone was good to choose. And you really made a stupid comment with the whole 'RP' comment. All the people voted in are excellent RPers. Have you been paying attention to any of ANYTHING on 2k1? :/ And anyway, I'm not just dissing your opnions becuase they are badly thought out and totally out of it, I'm dissing the becuase you are complaining about all this stuff, like you expect someone else to fix it for you, I don't see you trying to encourage people to vote for someone else, or running yourself. Your just sitting around and whining about something that you could totally try to fix yourself! :rolleyes:

Check Zormite poll. CheeToS apparantly wasn't fishy enough for the fish club. Why should I be complaining about it? I don't play 2k2. I am, however, open with my thoughts, so I figured I'd share them. So whatever. Believe what you wish. But of course, when you see something wrong, you'll ***** and moan too, all of you have done it at one time or another. Of course, I'm Caius and everyone hates me so it's wrong cause I said it.

CheeToS doesn't really play 2k2, he mostly plays 2k1, just because it 'seemed' like he wanted to be the Zormite leader it didn't mean he did, he could of easily been on the poll if he put his name on the nominee list sooner. Closed.
