I don't understand why the topic couldn't have been deleted and Brad warned. Plus we can talk about MP3's which is JUST as illegal as roms. ***** staff.

All I remember is Nemesis was talking about an SoM rom/emulator thing. I showed Alkaren, and Alkaren didn't want to ban him.

what's the big deal about talking about emulators anyway? so long as you don't obviously attack a ****ing emulator/ROM to a post, why the hell would it matter?

I thought about it before I made the thread and I looked at the top and saw the stupid thing about MMORPGS which I don't even know what are. I figured that wasn't a ROM so I posted anyways. =/

can someone show me the exact thread(s) brad was banned for so i can launch a proper investigation? (proper investigation = look at it for a few minutes and decide whether his banning was rightful)

we're not allowed to talk about ******ok or ROMs. what about consoles? i'd say that's a pretty bloody HUGE competition for Graal. hey everyone, let's all remind the staff of graal about how much better than graphics on EVERY console is compared to graal, and how nothing LAGS, and how the spelling is correct, etc.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. now, i'll probably be banned for defending brad's right to talk about something that is hardly going to suddenly take everyone away from graal forever.

Just do a search on the word and it's all over the place. So the person who banned you probably just didn't like you

What do you think will come from GraalOnline? I think its stupid to ban him for talking about roms. But its ok to talk about X-Box and GameCube? Holy ****! The staff are trying to keep what little player base they have right now. Banning people for talking about other competitors(sp?) is pretty stupid.

Moderators (Nemesis) can't be banned by Alkaren; it has to be done by one of the admins (Stefan, unix, galen).

I think the mods are fools! What if we discuss legal ROMS do we get banned then?

Seriously, Brad shouldn't have been banned... I eman a ROM is not giving graal any competition.... is it?also if your gonna ban someone for talking about an MP3 youd have to ban Graal2k2 cause it uses MP3s :)

Now, if Alkaren really sent a ban-note to galen about banning Nemesis, it would of probably been done by now.

It's distribution of copyrighted material via MP3 that's illegal. The format itself is not illegal.

ok what i dont get is why we cant discuss MMORPG's that well graal cant compete with in the first place meaning way outta graal's leauge...ie EVERQUEST or STAR WARS GALAXIES, i played both EQ and Graal i dont think EQ would steal graal players....but on the other hand (im using this as an example im NOT PROMOTING IT) if i were to mention and promote Zelda 2002 then YES that would be competition for graal.

Uhh.. I don't think roms are not allowed because they're competition, it's because they're ILLEGAL. Anyway, Brad should not have been banned though. Just warned and thread closed.

Thats what he did to me too, he just said "Bye" in a thread to me and I was banned. He didnt give me a warning or anythign he said he didnt have to warn me its not inthe rules.

actually roms are legal if you own the game in RL, every rom i got i have in RL its just my systems dont work anymore.

i only have 2 roms lol
