Since none of the Playerworld Admin Team is currently working at all, could my playerworld just jump to the final Testing Phaze? I think its good enough.

As you can see, the Coast to the left still needs some work, the reason why I havnt filled it in, is because im using it for Player Housing. And im still not technical finished, but I will only require 2 to 3 FULL days of online work. And that would be all, so I dont think the players would mind, 3 days isnt that long. Anways, please respond.

And for the players, if you are seeing this, tell me what you think of my world so far.. its not even finished yet, but that is what i got for now.

ummm, how did u get your map to work?? when i press m and save it, the map picture is black

well, it has happend to me like 5 times today, and I found out why, when you use the txt file, you have to make sure that all the sides are equal.

Example..

"myworld1.graal","myworld2.graal"
"myworld3.graal","myworld4.graal"
<---- That would be a square world right?

Well, if you have it like this..

"myworld1.graal","myworld2.graal","myworld5.gr aal"
"myworld3.graal","myworld4.graal"

It wont work, they have to be equal on all sides.

And if you dont have anything to make them equal, leave it blank

"","","world1.graal"
"world2.graal","world3.graal""world4.graal" <--- like that..

no, i use level editor. so everything is all aquare and stuff, but i cannot get the map to work, it is always black

and that could be why, I use the Graal Editor to make my map too, if your Txt file isnt correct, it will make your map all Black. So just look at your bigmap.txt file and make sure its all correct. Then try makin the map, and you did activate the map right? You have to acivate your map before you can create it.

ummm, how i activate, and my txt file is fine, um i am an idiot obviously, canu tell me how to do everything? also, is there a color depth i have to be in when the map is made?:confused: :rolleyes: :eek: :confused: :rolleyes: :eek: :eek: :confused: :rolleyes: edited in, um what size is the original image for your world

ok.. first off, make a NPC, and put this script in it


if (playerenters) {
setmap yourmap.png, yourmap.txt, playerx, playery;
setminimap yourminimap.png, yourminimap.txt, playerx, playery; }

ok, and even if you dont have your png's made yet, still type it in, and it will activate the txt files, then when your press Ctrl+M it reads all the levels off your txt file and puts them togather.

Now, after its done making your png, you will need to go in a Edit program(PSP works the best) and change the PNg to a

256 Color 12 Bit PNG

then she will work..

YES you ARE doing something wrong. You already started topics about this exact same thing, at least two that I can remember perhaps more. This makes your third (at least) It is called NETIQUETTE, go learn some before you go spouting off "I'm doing nothing wrong" If you want to talk more about your playerworld, great, but you don't need to start a new thread each time. Just repost in the same one.

I'm complaining because I don't want to read about your frickin' playerworld every time I visit the board, and it's hard not to since you keep starting new threads about it. Now, please stop. No more threads about this.
