Review : Farelands

The server has been re-submitted to me for another review.

Onlinestartlocal is still the same. You can choose from a plethera of different classes. There is still no description for the classes, and there are still no descriptions for the kingdom selections, although the level seems to be fixed up a bit.

The levels for the starting town are nice, at least the outside ones are. There are very few inside levels.

The rest of the overworld is blank.

The owner of this PW wants players to make the playerworld once it gets up, he wants them to submit buildings and stuff. I'm fine with that, but you still have to do more work on the overworld. You can leave lots of room for stuff like that, but PLEASE at least tile them up, put some grass and flower tiles here and there, so the levels at least look appealing. Put some trees here and there, etc. I wouldn't rely completley on players trying to make great levels. Try making a few towns by yourself, not leaving it up to the players.

You'll need some quests, you don't have any.

Creativity - 5

Levels - 2
Very few levles were done, but I liked the ones that were done, I think they were done pretty well. The server would be a lot better if you could use that level skill a lot more.

NPCs - 1
I could only find one NPC, a tailor NPC.

Quests - 0
No quests. Plain and simple.

Storyline - 5
At the beggining you pick Class and Kingdom, I assume that would tie in with a storyline somewhere......

Overall Score - 13 out of 50

Jinz said he didnt look at all the levels so far and he is going to chage the score of the pw so he might or might not pass it its up to him he saw diffrent levels because some of the older levels got mixed up witht he new ones also he didnt start on the right online start local graal so that was the problem right there so just wait and see there is alot of other levels that we got done from last time and when i say alot i mean alot and Ex you should change your signature image you aint the owner of Mithica any more

Wow, that's low X.x...

I don't like having the "storline" aspect included in the review. 2k1 has no real storyline, nor do most other playerworlds. A story might be an interesting feature of a playerworld, but it shouldn't be required.

I dont' require it. If they don't have one, I'll give it a 7.5(about a 7.5 average is required in each catergory to pass).

If they do have a storyline, I'll look at it, see how good it is, and watch how consistant they are with it.

Take your time, submit when you're sure you are ready. There are very few PWs that do that now, the ones that do generally are better.
