Hmm, I feel...
I feel as if Graal is missing something. Funny, I can't put my finger on it though. Do any of you feel the same? It's been more apparent to me, throughout this week.
Come back, my old Graal. :( |
Playing this game for the first few months on Dolphonia was great, I loved it there. After it shut down, I lost love for the game. And it's been missing that 'something' ever since, I still stick around though.
|
Graal 2001 is missing it's "zing". There used to be so many people on, all role-playing and having fun. It's empty, I wish they would come back :(
|
What is missing for me? The old Game.
|
I think Graal has lost it's spunk, if you're an oldbie. What I wouldn't do to be a newbie again...

Exactly, even running around pointlessly in levels and gaining onlinetime or ap was fun for me. |
i wish i was an oldbie :(
|
I wish they made it so you didn't need a friend for everything. like Monsters, and EXp so you have other things to strive for, so you can be the strongest.

i hear this jesus guy is pretty cool, but not as cool as stefan and unixmad |
Lack of massive player-created events, such as faction wars and massive guild wars. That was the heart of Graal when there were no new quests to do or sparring to be done (BEFORE the implementation of points, mind you -_-).
Now I just walk around doing nothing, or sit at my house while I surf the forums. That's not the "zing" of Graal. :( |
I miss graal before classic's account reset (when Hera's were first introduced)

Hera=***
Classic=*** Have a nice=day |

The only thing I miss from not playing Classic is the sparring and guilds. That was the best of Classic. I didn't really care for the quests that took less than 10 minutes to complete, and all of the senseless pking.

The bad decisions and risks on behalf of the higher administration, are starting to show, I believe.

I disagree.
Graal lost it's newness. That much is inevitable, and it happened to all of us except the newbies. The game isn't sufficiently PvP yet to keep reinventing itself in the style of RTSes such as StarCraft, so there inevitably comes a time when you've seen everything. Case in point, if you find yourself wandering around boredly, that's because there are no "new" quests - in fact, few were "new" when you started, they were either built into the released server or had been around prior to your entrance. This is why there are 7 people on G2K2, but were 150 when it just opened - it was new. Now it isn't. Also why people rush to get whatever new thing comes out... |

I once made a new account, got a few hearts, joined some random guild, and had a great time. I'd still sometimes play on it if it wasn't for ghost mode/all P2P. |

yeah birdo, it could be a lot sooner, but the main page still says chrsitmas, so who knows? doesnt matter anyways in my mind just as long as its released.
only problem is if we wait that long old kingdom leaders will be gone, old members would be gone. hell just because of its lateness graal lost money. though it'd be nice to see all newbies controlling kingdoms >.< |
mmmmkay: That is when you do what I do....work to make a server that will bring back the spunk in graal, and wait for servers with owners that have similar thoughts as me.

I can see where Classic thought they were going with the idea of 9 hearts and level 3 sword (6 hits for a kill), but it was a bad idea considering that it makes it to easy for people with low AP to go Kamakaze, it should be 15 hearts/level 3 sword.
Oh well, I play the much much better N-Pulse anyways. |
