all you did was add (GFX Team) and your graal char
and the corny lighting effect

It was only a Sig i though the background looked cool I needed a change from my Old Sig. Ive posted like loads of times that it was from badreligion.com?

personally I think if you make gfx they should be completley yours and did you ask the bad religion site people if you could use it?

I think you should learn to make stuff on your own.. just because someone elses looks cool modifying it and calling it yours is not making it yours its actually very illegal and all I see you did was use filters and stuff you didnt make anything on your own

I dont regret doing it I think its a great Sig but my Server work comes before some Sig so I wanted to make it look good without taking up to much time

I doubt you talk to the owners of the site, but not having time isnt an excuse to steal gfx why dont you just take it off your sig and "make" one some other time,one that you can be proud of...

I dont know if you know anything about graphics but I hate people that steal my graphics and if you are really serious about graphics then you would understand that stealing is bad...

Even if you dont plan on keeping it... or whatever your excuse is... you know you can be reported and you can get sued even if you dont think they will... lawyers take every oportunity they can get

So did I, Even though it's not that pretty, it didn't take me that long to make, and you say you're busy with other stuff :rolleyes: if you're so great you should be able to create a sig twice as good as mine in half the time.

Ok I just read the disclaimer thing and technically he can’t be sued because your computer automatically downloads all the images into you temp files. Also what’s the big deal? People make sigs from images that are taken from anime shows and websites then put their graal name and a little effects on it then say its theirs? Man why are you picking on a guy who used an image from a band he likes web site, its just a sig.

That's not the point, the point is it's ironic that he claims himself, in sig sig no doubt, to be GFX team, when he uses an image someone else created for his sig.

I am or was on the GFX team for Babylon + FTO and i didnt make my sig.

I dont steal my graphics I make them on my own and I dont need some idiot telling me that I dont know what I am talkin about...

I suggest someone just close this topic.... if he wants to use other peoples graphics let him do it... its just the principle of him using graphics that arent his own even if he wasnt on the GFX team... I dont even care if he is a GFX team if I saw someone elses sig or site that stole gfx I would do the same

even if it isnt for commercial use it is still violating copywrite laws. So if you have a site about pokemon and it's just a fan site, taking graphics that they have on pokemon.com is still illegal even though pokemon.com dosent do anything about it because they are just kids...

Its not like were lawyers and were going to sew some one no were just people who are on a message board that is from an online game this isnt important. And its his sig let him worry about the repercautions.

Also i never said it would be yours if it was downloaded of the site into the temp filem, all i did was say that he could freely use it. And im pretty sure the owners of the site wouldnt care if he wasnt making any money off the image rather he's basicly giving them free advertisement seeing how people have been going to the site to see the image he altered.
